Just discovered on BT:

Does anyone know something about this series? Good? It is anounced as some sort of british Buffy.

I saw the first one on Sunday night. It looks kinda Buffy-ish from the trailers but it isn't. It was kind of "ok" and I'll be watching the second one to see where the story is going - then I'll decide whether to persist with it or not - it certainly didn't grab me with the first episode.

I have to agree with you, it seemed to take far too long to set up a simple premise. I'll watch the second one in the hope that they get on with the plot rather than repeating character traits over and over again.

It certainly does not represent a British version of Buffy from what was on offer in the pilot episode.

Hhhm, not decided on this one yet. It certainly has potential, but so far has been fairly lacklustre in execution.

I agree. It is definitely no british Buffy, more a british Willow. ;-)

I'd say this series has potenial if they don't exaggerate the doom and gloom too much.

Supernatural stuf like this will capture my interest for 2 reasons, it either has great effects and action, or it has great storylines and character development. Obviously something that has both is awesome, so far this has little of either.

I am with holding judgement ATM as I tend to give new stuff a while to impress me, but it had better hurry up.

Actually it is not that bad. You just should not be younger than 14 and not older than 16 to watch this one. Oh yes, and being a girl would also help you to like this one.

Take a stand please. First you say you disliked it, then you say that this is just the kind of series for you :P

TBH honestI lost interest. It was one of those so-so things in the end, I watched it if I remembered, but wasnt gutted if I missed it either.
