Mutant War - with this generic name Brett Piper made a sequel to Battle for the Lost Planet and we see the hero trying to survive in the hostile world under the rule of the aliens, who are pigs and not tapirs as I leanred in this movie. The Sylvester Stallone lookalike from part one is gone, but instead we get a punk gang who are about to kill Harry Trent and his entourage but then change their minds and help him (sure). The monsters are partially the same stop motion creatures from part one, some are new. This time no woman to protect but a kid, who is looking for her sister. They liberate someone but that's not the sister. Still, the group grows a little bigger each time and finally they take the aliens on and of course win. Lots of more of the same in this film, but if you liked part one, you will like this one.

The Frightened Woman - aka Femina Ridens (which emans "Laughing Woman" btw). Italian film about a journalist getting kidnapped to be the S&M slave of a rich guy for a weekend and then be killed. She tries to turn her fate by waking his interest in the nature of women. Weird story, pretty OK plot. Acting is OK too, the strangeness of this film is in the habits of the rich guy, depraved and sadistic. No hardcore S&M btw, no violence or nakedness (apart from the occasional shot here and there). The ending was quite nice, but I was actually wanting more, it all stayed a bit too tame in my opinion.

Thor the Conqueror - Italian fantasy flick about Thor, who gets born in a very violent way: his father is having a sword fight with several enemies and he also gets shot with arrows, of which the second one hits his throat and proves to be fatal. As a baby he himself gets pierced by an arrow too, but the wizard saves him from certain death by doing *poof*. When Thor is grown up, he goes on a quest to be the master of his territory, but he also wants to take revenge on Noot, the guy who killed his father. When Thor liberates a woman from the hands of some cannibals, the wizard tells him several pre #metoo things like "The female is stupid. Take her, she is yours. Have your way with her." Even though Thor is raised by this wizard, he talks like an imbecile, leaving out words to exaggerate his barbaric nature I guess. Lots of fighting, with swords and axes etc. He captures a woman and takes her to be his bride but then he gets kidnapped by a tribe. The woman liberates him and they enter a peaceful village nearby. When this village gets raided by Noot (who must be in his 60s by now, but doesn't really look it), it's time for Thjor to take his revenge. He returns to the burial site of his father, where the arrow now pierces the skull instead of the throat and then he sets off to the fight. Very corny film, with loads of dumb stuff as described above. I had a lot of fun with it, gonna check out more stuff by Tonino Ricci, Rush and Rage are looking good :) Thor is recommended for bad moviefans!

Edison Death Machine - this indy movie starts out with a fake silent movie, but it's nicely done and gets you into the background of the storyline rather fast. The silent movie is about a "resurrection machine", and this machine happens to be in a museum but nobody knows what it is or how it works. A director of the msueum gets seduced in a bar and when he takes the girl inside the musuejm they get robbed. The thieves get compromised however, so instead of the planned painting, they take the machine, of which the director just mintues before found some old manual in the side of the box. To try out if it works, they resurrect Elvis, and afterwards they go around the world to resurrect ancient celebrities to take away their gold and other costly artifacts. All of a sudden they get to deal with some mobster who demands millions of dollars so they have to complete "one more job". Of course this one will go wrong... Nice film, even though some of the cast aren't stellar, it's not superobvious that this film had a low budget. The sfx are pretty nice, even though the mummy mask is the same as the pirate's mask ;) but it was a charming effort and a pretty good result. If you like B-movies you will be fine, not hardcore SBiG but a nice way to pass the time if you are into those films.

Bad Moon - 90s horror with Muriel Hemingway as Janet, a lawyer living in the countryside, with her son Brett and German shepherd Thor. Her brother Ted returns from one of his exotic trips and soon comes to live in the rear of the garden, in his trailer. However, Ted carries a dark secret, which makes him go into the woods when the moon is up. Nice monsterflick, the wolf scenes were OK, the changes were also OK, acting was average. Nothing groundbreaking, some pretty good gore and some strange behaviour (I mean, who keeps on f*cking while a monster around your tent is tearing apart your crew? She must have been incredibly hot!) make this movie a nice passtime, no must see for bad moviefans although they might enjoy it as well.

What Really Frightens You? - pfft this was rather boring, fortunately it lasts for just over an hour. A guy does interviews with the question from the title, later the interviewees get visions about the things they told him. One guy fears a monster under his bed since childhood, a girl frears to be naked in the streets and being touched up in a stripckub and a third person fears the gangs from his old neighbourhood. It was all pretty plain and never got exciting anywhere. Forget about this quickly, or even better: don't even start watching it.

Death Nurse II - this is a waste of time. If you have seen Death Nurse and siurvived, don't vbother tortuing yourself with the "sequel". Same actors, same location, same sceens used from previous films of the same director, same MO of the killer, same, same, same. Aren't there *any* differences? Yes, there are. There are two actors who were not in part one and in this one you get lots of scenes from part one rerun (which in part one is impossible for obvious reasons). This is cult I guess, but please, only watch this as the last movie on your movienight with friends and lots of drugs and booze. Since you are passing out anyway, you won't be missing much with this one. Bad moviefans: just pick one of the two Death Nurse films, it doesn't really matter.

Ape - bought a bunch of movies on DVD, several classics, among which this one with Boris Karloff. Actually this film is not a horror, it's more a thriller. It's from the 1940s and only runs for an hour, so there is not much room to build up tension. The storyline is very simple: a doctor is experimenting with a cure for spinal paralysis, and therefore he needs spinal fluids. A circus visiting the town has a huge ape in a cage and for some reason these two stories come together in an underwhelming plot twist. So this is not a film I can recommend unless you are a Karloff completist. If you're not, pick a different film if you want to know Karloff's performances, many of them are better than this one.

The Hound of the Baskervilles - another classic, based on the famous Sir Arthur Conan Doyle story. Starring Christopher Lee as Sir Henry Baskerville and Peter Cushing as Sherlock Holmes. Nice story but again not so much horror. It is from Hammer, so the horror atmosphere is there, but this is more a mystery. Acting is nice, I guessed the "guy who did it" from the start though, so it's not a real mystery for seasoned fans of genres like giallo. So even though I enjoyed this film, I'd rather watch a real horror with Cushing and/or Lee, so that the atmosphere and their acting can give me chills, at least for a bit.

Emmanuelle 2 - the sequel with Sylvia Kristel who became world famous making these movies, according to the backside of the DVD. The storyline is simple, Emmanuelle comes to Hong Kong to see her husband and on the way there and after her arrival there are plenty occasions for her to have sex or dream about it. After you are accustomed to the characters nothing surprising is gonna happen anymore. For some reason I thought this softcore porn was rather stylish, but that's maybe because the story is not going berserk in order to end up with two people having sex. In one of the final scenes Laura Gemser shows up, who would end up playing Emanuelle (notice the subtle difference) in several films made by more infamous Italian directors. This one is OK, I enjoyed it more than part one which was rather boring imo. I also bought parts 3 and 4, so we'll see if it gets sleazier each time ;)

The Raven - bought this one together with some other classics, but this wasn't as I had expected. I knew of course the Edgar Allen Poe poem, but this film is more of a children's movie. It's listed as a comedy too and it shows: the corny jokes roll over the screen very often. The magic in the film is shown with very cheesy sfx like coloured beams shooting across the room. Boris Karloff delivers as the "evil wizard", Vincent Price is less talented in comedy than in horror imo so I hope that the remaining films I still have to see with him as the lead are less for a laugh and more for a scare.

The Quatermass Xperiment - had heard so often about this film and had pretty high expectations, as this is considered some sort of a cult classic. I must say I had a good time although I was expecting a bit more. The story is about a rocket returning from space and of the three astronauts only one is still alive. He is in shock, though, so he can't explain why only the suits of the other two remain. This mystery is played out nicely, but as soon as you find out what's going on (and that doesn't really take very long), the film loses a chunk of it's interestingness. Effects aren't that bad considering the age of the film and acting is good. Black and white, so if that doesn't deter you and you like 50s scifi films, then give this one a chance.

Death Warmed Up - a mad scientist is experimenting on people to control their minds. In one such experiment, he orders Michael to kill his own parents. Afterwards he is being locked up in a mental institution, and when he is released seven years later, he wants revenge on the doctor. He goes on a trip with his girlfriend and another couple of friends, and coincidentally they end up on the island where the doctor has his practise now, drilling into people's skulls to ultimately fulfill his experiments. When Michael goes after him, they get into trouble with some strange thugs and also with several escaped patients from the local mental institution, who look like some sort of zombies because they have been lobotomized by the doctor. Advertised as the New Zealand gore movie from before Peter Jackson's Bad Taste, this indeed has plenty of gore, mostly blood squirting out of killed people. The story is a tad confusing at times, but overall this is a very nice effort from an independent crew like this. If you like gore, B-movies or films from lesser known countries, you will have fun with this one.

Blood Creature - aka Terror is a Man. In the first 20 minutes of this film, sound and image don't match, it's a misprint on the DVD. Therefore it's impossible to follow the story, but when it's synched again it's easy to pick up (the film is pretty slow, so nothing much has happened and in the first synched dialogue the characters summarize the events from the night before). Backside of the DVD and imdb both say that this runs for 90 minutes but that's a huge exaggeration: this version of the film clocks in at 72 minutes, and that's more than enough. I guess the difference has to do with the desync part at the beginning, so if you buy this, avoid the Dripping Blood edition! The remainder of the film is not super interesting, it's about a mad doctor on an island, mixing a panther and a man in order to make a superhuman being. Slow and pretty boring, the "creature" looks more like a mummy making cat noises (because of all the bandages you really don't see anything) and the ending is predictable. Can't really recommend this to anyone, maybe my judgment would be less harsh without the 20 minute fuckup.

Picked up watching films again and gonna continue to do so, so more reviews coming in after these ones:

A Bucket of Blood - when a waiter in a beatnik bar accidentally stabs a cat inside the walls of his house, he decides to cover the dead animal in clay. At the bar, the beatniks discover him as the new sculptor's talent, and he continues to make statues, but since there are no more cats available, he starts "sculpting" humans. Black and white, slow and rather boring, this one is not to be recommended as it is pretty forgettable. Acting is (almost) over the top, gore is non existent and the storyline is predictable.

Haunting of Crestview High - run of the mill college kids movie, this time they are in suspension in the library which turns out to be built on the location of a native American's home. This man got killed because he wouldn't sell his property in order to make room for the library. Now the teens must deal with the ghost of the library, or is it really a ghost? Lots of deaths, some are rather gory which is nice. The storyline tries to be clever, and they add a layer to the plot each time you think you've got it. They do it so often however that it gets annoying. In the end you are just left a bit confused and it looks like the creators didn't know which direction they wanted the film to take. Acting is OK but overall this is not gonna be on my to rewatch list.
Emmanuelle 3 - another movie about the lustful woman having fun in paradise, this time on the Seychelles. They have threesomes and other experimental thingies, nothing too shocking though. The experiment with the "free marriage" brings Emmanuelle into a situation in which she meets Gregory and she falls madly in love with him. Now Jean, her husband, is trying to thwart her attempts to start some sort of a relationship with him and this leads to all kinds of intrigues. So while this Emmanuelle is less harmonious than the previous ones it's still more of the same soft eroticism with some breasts and some non-erect penises. The storyline was a tad more interesting though, let's see what part four brings.

Little Erin Merryweather - nice low budget film with a fairy tale theme. "If you see a flash of red... you're dead": little red riding hood is wandering around in the forest killing guys who are alone. The police are in the dark about it but several college students following a course in psychology think they know what's behind the gruesome murders where the victims are cut open and their bellies filled with stones. This group of friends starts investigating, but one of them is also falling in love with a girl who is in their class at psychology (and she is also tending the desk in the library the boys are frequenting - fun fact: this is the second film I watched in a short time which plays for a large part inside a library). Finally they think they are able to unravel the mystery, but it might still cost lives... acting is quite nice in this one, even though some of the cast are overdoing things a bit. Image quality is lower than usual but it gives the film atmosphere instead of a cheesy feel. I had fun even though this is nothing really groundbreaking but I appreciate the effort of the filmmakers. Recommended.

Shark Exorcist - superlow budget sharkflick which meets all extremely low expectations: no real sharks? Check. No wounds on the victims? Check. Dumb blonde girls doing nothing most of the time? Check. Shark being in places they don't live? Check. Totally unrelated nun character casting spells? Check. Actors playing two roles and not even trying to hide it? Check. Hundred percent of the kills off screen? Check. Yes, this is all very disappointing, what it has going for it is the total weirdness of the plot in which a girl gets bitten and then possessed by a shark and so she craves water and lures people into the lake (yes, lake) where the shark lives. The end. Very dumb, very unsatisfying and the good thing about it is the runtime which is only 60 something minutes.

Werewolf in a Girls Dormitory - black and white film from 1960, about a werewolf terrorizing a reform school for girls. A doctor visits the school and he starts investigating the monster. Several people could be the werewolf, but when some of them die, the options become fewer. Will the doctor find out in time? Or will the werewolf kill everyone first? Acting is ok-ish, some serious overacting here and there. Effects are meager, some of these oldies have way more effects than this one. The wolf looks disappointing. Not very memorable, but a nice addition to the werewolf collection.

Devil's Honey - Lucio Fulci film I hadn't seen yet, so expectations were medium-high. High because of Fulci, medium, because the backside of the DVD stated that it was an erotic thriller including S&M and sodomy. I'm not often into erotic thrillers: they are either not erotic, or not thrilling, in the worst case the aren't either of the two. This one falls in the last category in my opinion: the S&M is actually a hostage situation (and therefore doesn't really have to do anything with the erotic side of the slave and master thing) and the sodomy, well, if they wouldn't have mentioned it on the backside I wouldn't have noticed it in the film. The story is OK-ish but also pretty far fetched and the flashbacks are getting on your nerves quickly. So I'm glad I've seen it, because I'm a Fulci fan, but I'm also pretty convinced that this is one of his works that I won't rewatch again soon.

Beyond the Seventh Door - low budget Canadian horror about a guy coming out of prison and meeting up with his old girlfriend. He wants to do one more job and then quit robbing people, the victim is the boss of his girl. They enter his castle and then find themselves inside one big puzzle with boobytraps in every room. The story made me think of Cube, maybe Natali watched this one and then thought he could do it better and went ahead to make Cube. Better than this isn't really hard: there are only a handful actors, no effects really and one location mostly. But: the plot is well done and I really liked the ending, which for some reason I hadn't seen coming. I had fun watching this one, the accent of Lazar Rockwood adds some nice B-movie flavour (made me think of The Room: "Lisa, you're tearing me apart!" in a weird way). Go and watch this if you haven't already, this is the cheese to go for! Recommended.

Annabelle 2: Creation - the second Annabelle film and I liked the first one, so I was curious about this one. I didn't even know that a part 2 and 3 existed before I saw them for sale. I like stories about how stuff began but they can fail miserably. This one doesn't. We follow a family who
Spoiler:
lose their daughter
and years later they open their house for a group of girls from a Catholic orphanage. One of those girls is suffering from polio so she has to use crutches, but she finds solace in her friendship with one of the other girls. The girls and the sister from the orphanage accompanying them lead good lives in the house, although they never get to see the woman of the family, only the man. After a while they start to see strange things and hear noises all over the house, the girl with the crutches sees a doll and from then on things spiral out of control. Much more scary moments in this one, but the atmosphere is not dumped for it. The buildup is nice and the background story is quite shocking. effects are OKish (rather cliche) but I had a good time watching this and if you liked part one this won't disappoint you at all, I think this one might even be a bit better. Recommended.

The Love Butcher - a serial killer is haunting a neighbourhood and his victims are all women and they get stabbed with sharp objects like a pitchfork, a pair of scissors or a gardening knife. There is a retarded gardner maintaining the lawns, but he can't possibly be the murderer right? The police are puzzled, a journalist keeps bothering them so much about the lack of results that they take him in on the case, at least sort of. Every few days the killer strikes again, and bit by bit the mystery unravels itself, Not for you as the viewer, because you get to know the killer quite fast. It involves some mental problems and some multi personality syndrome too. The kills are sometimes a bit strange and the acting is sometimes a bit over the top, especially by the guy who plays the killer. This makes the movie unintentionally funny and not scary at all. I must say there are some surprises when it comes to the new victims, and I liked that in this film but overall this is just a B-movie and you should watch it if you are into bad films.

Missile to the Moon - had to get through some trouble to get this DVD going: there was a pretty big dent close to the middle and this was one of thsoe discs where you don't get a menu, you don't get any options whatsoever, you have to sit through the trailers and wait for the main feature. Well, the wait here was pretty long since the disc kept spinning on the part of the dent. So I resorted to an old trick and sprayed some deterrent (the liquid diswash soap) on the disc, and it helped a little bit but still got stuck on the trailers. So I troied a different DVD player and althiough that oen struggled too, it finally passed the point of the dent and after that everything was fine. OK, on to the film. It's a colourized version of a 1950s scifi flick, in which a scientist, working closely with one partner, has developed a space rocket. Before the military can take over, he plans to leave for the moon, and coincidentally two escaped convicts, both young men who were hiding for the police in the rocket, all together they form the crew. The partner and his fiancée accidentally get on the rocket too, so now they are with five people on their way to the moon. Nice 50s sfx along the way, the taking off lok shilarious because it's a different rocket than the one standing on the launch platform the whole time. The meteorites on the way, the landing on the moon, the rock creatures, it's all very funny. The storyine is very shallow but it comes down to a people living on the moon and running out of oxygen (yes, of course there happens to be oxygen on the moon) so they plan on taking over earth. When the crew tries to escape (because one of them is planned to be married to one of the peole - who are 100% female btw and painted blue for good measure) the huge fake spider is set loose and the threads it hangs on are clearly visible. It's also woth a good laugh to see how one of the convicts gets roasted by sunlight: he bursts into flames and then his skeleton pops out of his costume, cool! It all ends well and they live happily ever after. Recommended if you are into cheesy scifi flicks!

Dr Moreau's House of Pain - Charles Band's take on the famous Moreau tale. A boxing champion is looking for his missing brother together with his two female friends, one of whom is a reporter. When he witnesses a peculiar fight between a stripper and a gangster, they end up in a remote mansion where Dr Moreau is held captive by his own creations, a manpig and a mandog (it's supposed to be a crossing between a mountain lion and some other feline but it looks very doglike). They need human bodies to create the perfect manimal, and the boxer and his friends are good specimens. Now they have to try and escape before their organs are used in a manimal transplantation... acting is kind of atrocious, especially by the main character. Effects are ok, the Moreau creation which went wrong looks gross and creepy, the others just look like actors wearing sheets and a mask. It's a pretty short film (some 70 minutes) so your brain won't die off entirely. Bad enough to enjoy for SBiG films.

Blood Song - a crippled girl having trouble at home (her dad won't let her see the guy she loves) sees a killer in her dreams, and while she is trying to date her lover without her dad knowing about it, the dreams become more intense. When one day she runs into a man digging a hole with a big plastic bag besides him, she is sure she met the killer. Trying to tell her boyfriend and her friends in class that she is the next target she has a hard time convincing them and in the meantime she sees him more often, or does she? Sometimes she seems to be daydreaming, but people in her surroundings start dying, so is the killer real or is she just imagining it all? Some nice kills, the final scene in the sawmill is also pretty cool, pace is quite low though so you need some patience to get into it. Not a very groundbreaking film but a nice slasher from the golden age of horror.

Velocipastor - a film made by some guys for fun after one of them tried to type velociraptor and got the title as a suggestion on his phone. This low budget flick is supposed to be a fun ride so don't try to take it seriously, they aren't making it hard for you to do though: the plot is a bot a priest whose parents get murdered and then he travels to a forest which is supposed to be China where he acquires an artifact which enables him to turn into a dinosaur to kill bad people and make the world a better place. He meets a hooker along the way and of course his vows of chastity are out of the window pretty soon. Together with her he sets out on a mission to rid the world of bad people but apart from some collateral damage, there is also a clan of ninjas chasing him because he is the last of the "dragon warriors". Watched this one with a friend and we had a great time, as you can clearly see the guys and girls who made this had a good time and lots of laughs. You can have them too if you watch it. It's  a bad movie, but intentionally so, so for the purists it's a no go, other bad moviefans will have a blast.

The Terror Within - end of the 80s scifi flick very obviously "inspired by" Alien. The setting, the characters, the threat from strange creatures, it's all the same. The difference is that this is on earth, after a pandemic which wiped the earth clean of human beings. Sole survivors are holding up in underground bunkers, one in the Rocky Mountains (which we don't get to see but we know it's there because of radio contact) and one in the Mojave desert, and this one is the center of this film. Looking for survivors of the disease, two crewmembers get slain by what they call gargoyles and as a viewer you don't get to see them for a long time. This is actually a good thing (and another similarity to Alien), and the first time you actually get to see a creature it's very gory. I enjoyed this one a lot actually even though it's a B-movie with a large B. It's campy but not really superbad, effects are pretty good and the creature looks cool. Gore is not super common but it's also pretty well done. One of the main characters looks like MacGyver and he also "McGyvers" his way through all the trouble they get in, so that was also nice. If you like creature features, post apocalyptic B-movies or Alien rip-offs, you're gonna have a good time watching this!

Can't have movienights with a group of friends now, so I split them into separate nights, first one was when we watched Velocipastor, and yesterday was the second one, we watched two films:

Schlock - the director's debut of John Landis, who would later entertain us with such movies as American Werewolf In London and Coming To America. An ape-like creature is roaming around killing people and both science and the law are after it now. A girl who has been blind since a few years pets the ape like it's a dog because she can't see it of course. This is listed as a comedy and it's indeed more a comedy than a horrormovie, because it's never really scary and there are lots and lots of jokes, some are sort of OK, most of them are quite corny. Even the ape is doing jokes, and although I laughed a few times it was also getting a bit on my nerves. Unfortunately the disc was quite damaged (it didn't really look like it but it stuttered often) so this influenced our viewing pleasure but we managed to get through it entirely. If you want to have a laugh this is an OK choice, but it's not really SBiG and also no horror.

Necropolis - now this was really a nice bad movie! The story starts in the 17th century where some voodoo is practiced on a bride who is about to get married, but the ritual can't be completed so the satanist trying to do the killing is coming back in 1980s New York. She dresses up in all kinds of interesting 80s outfits, drives a motorcycle (albeit only for 30 seconds in the entire movie) and does telepathic killing: her thoughts force people to kill themselves or other people so the police is in the dark about the origin of the murders and they file it all under heart attack, suicide, etc. One day a radio reporter interviews a reverend about his social work when one of his kids starts to act strangely (under the inlfuence of the stanist girl), so they start to look into the ritualistic cause of the murders. Many interesting meetings take place in this film, the satanist girl also resurrects some of the dead and deja vu plays a large part. The killings are rather straightforward but it's the setting which makes them cheesy. There are also a couple of dances performed by the satanist girl and they are hilarious, especially the one in the "17th century". Music is great too. Recommended for bad moviefans!

The Terror Within II - one of the crew of part one has survived his trip through the Mojave desert and is on his way to the Rocky Mountains to meet up with the other crew which we could only hear in part one. While he is on his way with Butch the dog, he tries to find some ingredients for the vaccine (needed against the disease) and he also meets up with a girl who lost her brother to a monster attack. They fall in love superfast and she is pregnantn the enxt day, but she also gets inpregnated again but this time by a monster. When they finally arrive in the Rocky Mountains research center, some of the crewmembers there are already sick, and there is also one working on a vaccine on her own, raising distrust among the teammembers. The pregnancy of course results in a similar thing as in part one and then we get a repetition of the search for the monster inside the station. Only this time, there are two monsters! This one is worse than part one and therefore better suited to the needs of bad moviefans. Recommended for them!

Third one of the small movienights, we watched three films together, the last one I watched alone:

Bloody New Year - group of kids gets in trouble on a carnival so they flee and end up shipwrecking close to an island where they notice they are in a timewarp (59-60). The hotel they are in turns out to be not empty. And: they can't leave it anymore! Weird film with zombie-esque ghosts, appearances, kids turning ghost, etc. Effects not all successful (paint on balloon wall), pretty funny. Nice and vampy, one of the characters has his zipper open during the entire film. Recommended for bad moviefans.

Manaos - hoping this would be some sort of a cannibalsploitation, I was partially disappointed (no cannibalism) and partially pleased (tribes in Amazon having to deal with brutal whites). Starring Fabio Testi from What Have They Done To Solange fame, the film takes us from Brazil to Ecuador and back, but it's also unintentionally taking us to a forest in Mexico that doesn't look tropical at all. Effects are at times hilarious, with the scene where an indigenous guy (played by a painted European) is eating a superfake spider among the top three SBiG moments in the film. The story is about a slave revolt at the end of the 19th century in Brazil and it's very much an adventure/action film rather than exploitation or horror. Still, if you like B-movies you will enjoy this one.

Alien Outlaw - not much scifi about this one, aliens running around on earth dressed as soldiers/scubadivers and being chased by a modern Calamity Jane who wants to keep her gunshow on the road. Aliens act like cowboys and there is no reason for them being here, no background story on that in any way. Little to no sfx make this a tad boring, but the "acting" saves some of it's badness. Bad moviefans can have fun but there are way "better" scifi's out there.

Vengeance of the Zombies - a Paul Naschy film from 1973, in which he plays Krisna, some kind of an Indian guru who raises women from the dead to do revenge killings for him. It's kind of low budget, the walking dead just have some white and a little black facepaint and that's it. The kills are pretty tame and without many sfx, but the acting and the editing make up for this hard, example: girl who is in love with Krisna shouts "Oh Krisna, it's such a nightmare, such a horror, I want to get out of here!" Krisna approaches, looks her in the eye, corny music starts, they kiss, 2 seconds later the shot is cut to show a graveyard. Okaaayyyy... So whole this is a bit tame in the gore department bad moviefans will still have a good time. Recommended for them.

Happy New Year everyone! :drunk: :beerchug:
