What i mean is the storyline, as in evil conquers good.
Nearly all horror movies i've seen have the same dull predictable good wins in the end.
What i'm looking for is the opposite..

Only movie i can think of at the moment is Cradle of Fear.
However only the ending is evil seeing the characters get punished for their evil deeds through out the story.

There's a lot of movies with serial killers in which everyone dies. Or is that not what you're looking for?

Michael Myers survives a hell of a lot of movies. So does the Leprechaun. But I'm not sure if that is 'evil conquers good' enough.

The first movie that bubbled to the top of my brain
was John Carpenter's 'Prince of Darkness'. Just when
you thought the good guys had won....

Black Christmas may also fall into that category. But that is
more serial killer oriented.

Can't agree on that one. The good wins in Prince Of Darkness. Just because the pretty redhead Oscar winning chick vanishes at the end, doesn't mean that evil wins. You have to make sacrifices.

The only movie that comes to my mind now is The Blair Witch Project.

Hmm, may have to hide this entire response but here goes:

I agree that the sacrifice at the end was necessary and doesn't
make the movie an 'evil wins' ending. I think after those scenes
though there is the bit with the transmission from the future (the
dreams that everybody was having) turns out to be a warning about
the evil getting out in one of the characters. The movie just
stops there. I always took it to mean that somehow the big bad
did find a way out afterall, despite the warnings. I could be wrong
though....

Anyhow, if you haven't seen Prince of Darkness, it is worth a
watch.

Talk about spoilers. Just by posting a movie in here, you are kind of ruining the ending. Anyway, here goes...
Dawn of the Dead (both. In the original, they have no gas and nowhere to go and in the remake there is a scene duringthe credits)
Noroi
Ju-On (just an unstoppable killing force)
Descent (original ending, not the American theatrical)
Those are the ones that jump to mind immediately.

Obviously the ending would be kinda ruined but there is no need to tell the whole story.
Even if you know how its gonna end, witch is kinda my point with the usual crap good-always-win ending, there is a whole story to lead you there.
I dunno how to find those evil gems in any other way. :(
Seeing 99% of the horror movies out there have the same dull ending..

Funny Games. You just can't get more evil than that. I still remember the remote control scene...so frustrating & infuriating, a real slap in your face!

Alexandra's Game (very dark throughout)
Anything by Jorg Buttgereit, since there is nothing but "evil" in his movies. Specifiaclly, Necromantic 1 and Der Todesking.
I'll see if I can think of any more.

Isn't Damien in The Omen the poster child?

My personal favourite is The Wickerman, evil people if not monsters and goblins.

Yeah. Can't believe I forgot this one. The evil wins in "The Omen"!

Another good movie where evil wins: "Identity" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0309698/).

Lots of video nasties end in a way where the good guys die, turn into monsters or are sent to prison/asylum/etc.

Do franchises count in this? I mean, Freddy/Jason/Myers/yo mama reappear again and again despite having been 'beaten'. Nightmare on Elm St, pt.1, has a baddie wins ending, surely?

In truth, I find the end of most films so samey and crap that I often don't remember the actual climax, preferring instead to pretend that it ended the way I wanted it to end (usually meaning the cute kid dies/the hero buys it/Earth explodes/ everyone turns into a giant centipede…)…

Don't the baddies win in Parates of the Caribbean 3? After all, pirates are murderers, robbers and rapists, so them getting a good deal is the triumph of evil over good, surely? Could just be a CGI-heavy wank-a-thon though.

30 Days of Night? Or was that a happy ending? Hard to say…

If you all want to see an evil defeats good ending then just wait until my life story is made into a movie.

First thing that came to mind for me was Watchmen. Not really horror, or a movie (yet) but it is probably my favorite Evil wins (for the greater good) story I've ever read.
