There is plenty of time until Halloween. I had this idea to choose a Dead-Donkey Halloween Movie and join the Halloween Roundtable: http://www.wtf-film.com/HALLOWEEN/

Other site opinions:

  • BADMOVIES.ORG: HOUSE II [1987]
  • THE B-MOVIE FILM VAULT: Ernest Scared Stupid [1991]
  • CINEMA SUICIDE: GHOSTWATCH [1992]
  • COLD FUSION VIDEO REVIEWS: CEMETARY OF TERROR [1985]
  • DARKSIDER'S REALM: TRICK OR TREAT [1986]
  • SHADOW'S B-MOVIE GRAVEYARD.ORG: NIGHT OF THE DEMONS [1988]
  • SIDE ORDER OF NINJAS: NIGHT OF THE DEMONS 2 [1994]
  • WTF-FILM: CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD [1980]

Which movie is the definite Halloween horror movie in your opinion?

I like the idea. Suggestions could perhaps be the input for a new poll.

The "definite Halloween horror movie in my opinion" is: Halloween

Hmmm, you should have had a poll in the first post & I'm sure if you pm spud he will add one for you (assuming you cant add one at this point which I dont think you can) although I'm sure that you havent covered the full list of halloween based films...
I agree with RV, best that I've seen (& I've not even seen Omega Man) that you listed is Halloween 1... Jamie Lee Curtis kicked her brothers arse in that one :voodoo:

If I'm understanding this thread correctly, the movie has to take place on or
is about Halloween? If that's the case then I'll go with Halloween 1. But
a close second for me is Trick or Treat. Totally rockin'! :beerchug:

The problem is that if I create a poll I'm delimiting the number of options with what I think is a reasonable choice. Moreover you can add only 10 options in a poll.

Let's do it this way:

1.) You suggest the movies below.
2.) I'll add the ones with the most "times suggested" to a poll later.
3.) Everyone (including shy people :D) can then vote using the poll.

Well it should but it's not necessary. As far as I know "Night Life" doesn't take place at Halloween.

It's only over when it's over. There are still 50 days to vote until Halloween.
Maybe some hyper-active forum members show up and change the result... :googley:

Definitely Halloween for me. Sure, movies like Pumpkinhead and Night of the Demons have a great Halloween atmosphere, but not good enough to beat JCs Halloween.

I've been watching this movie annually on October 31 since I was 17 (this year's gonna be my 15th). Hands down the best Halloween movie. "The Exorcist" comes a close second. That shot of the nuns walking down the street, their habits blowing in the wind always creeps me out.

Halloween is not a date we in Brazil "commemorate". It does not say anything to us :outsider:

Yeah, strange country
