Post subject:  Film where a horses (?) head gets smashed with sledgehammer?
Hi.

I'm hoping someone here can help me find a film I think I saw posted somewhere on these forums about a year ago.

From what I remember of the description of the film it depicted a man who smashes the head of a horse (or some other large animal) with a sledge hammer. I also seem to remember something about the man (after he had beaten the head into a pulp) sculpting something new out of the head.

That's about all I remember. I've spent hours trying different terms and words on google, but all I've come up with has been different news articles about people who have killed animals, and one article about an art exhibition (depicting various animals getting killed by a blow to the head).
So, anyone recognize this or have i dreamt this whole thing?

Hmm, doesn't seem to be Atrocity Exhibition. Haven't seen it though but from what I read it didn't seem familiar.

Equus features a young guy smashing iron spikes into the eyes of a bunch of horses to blind them but I don't think there's any making of anything out of the battered remains in that one... shame as it would have made for a better film. Battered remains in any film never really hurt though I suppose... :eatthis:

Equus seems to have too much of a plot to be the one I'm looking for. From what I remember there wasn't much else than a man beating a head into a bloody pulp and then the sculpting bit.

Ahh battered remains would make almost every Tom Cruise movie watchable (given that it is his head getting battered of course).
