45 minutes (maybe more) of extra footage has been found to Nightbreed. If like me you feel strongly enough about this (hell I'd buy the blu-ray), there is a petition to sign here:

I'm sorry but I'm not convinced it is a director's cut, censored or anything along those lines. At least i got no indication that it was footage removed against the director's wishes or through censorship, and its even called an 'extended edition' in the petition. That said I fully support a workprint / deleted scenes edition, providing that the real director's cut ie. the theatrical version is released along side it :)

Good find though, i certainly support an extended edition... I'm just a bit fussy when people say things are 'uncut' or 'director's cuts' simply because they have more footage :)

No blu-ray for me though :p

Nightbreed was a nice movie. However it ended too fast imho. Maybe the extra footage is at the end? :)
