Hey dudes,

Thought this may appeal to some (or quite possibly a large number of you).
Electric Ant is a zine chock full of comics, stranger Japanese culture features, illustrations, etc. Horror, Horror Manga, Ero Guro, Bizarre stuff, with a massive number of awesome contributors for the first 2 issues so far:

The theme is "body / collaboration", with articles on cross gender Japanese clubs, body horror comic jam, "These Bloody Moments" illustration feature (illustrated scenes from Horror movies, games, comics etc.).

I did an illustration based on Hausu (posted on DD here: http://forum.dead-donkey.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6694&start=40)

EDIT: I just read that the guy who runs Same Hat! ALSO publishes Electric Ant! Small world.


I read about this on Same Hat! a while ago. The only indie magazine Ive really ever read was a collected volume of Cinema Sewer. People around here would probably really like it. All handwritten,drawn and talks about exploitation films, gore, vintage porn, social issuse, drugs, anime, just about anything that would be considered the bottom of cinema as a medium.
