Post subject: | Movie List that I need help on. |
I am currently making a list of the most disturbing, Vile, and Depraved movies ever made for a website that I am thinking about starting. Said website would be inspired by a website that I frequented when I was much younger but that no longer exists to my knowledge. The website was called "Losman's Lair of Horror" and it had a great list and descriptions of the most disturbing films ever. As I got older and the Losman website faded out of existence I took it upon myself to keep the list going and maybe even expand upon it. So I took it to the movie forums on imdb.com and received many suggestions so the list grew. Carrying on the legacy, I scowered the internet and formulated this list of the most depraved movies of all time… Finally I am here, I will ask that you read the list and suggest any other films that you think would fit into the list or that are missing from it. The only thing I find disturbing in Wild at Heart is Nicholas Cage. ![]() |

There are a lot of movies on this list that I don't find disturbing at all. Dead Ringers? Audition? The Beyond? Come on, they have some gruesome horror going on, or some tense atmosphere, but in no way are they "disturbing". There are even some films which are only disturbing in the thought behind it, like Gummo. And again other films are not disturbing at all, like Bad Taste. I miss a lot of other titles, too. There are tons of cannibal and nazisploitation films missing on this list. Most notably Mountain of the Cannibal God, Last Cannibal World, The Beast in Heat and Gestapos Last Orgy. Another title which really belongs on this list is A L'Interieur (Inside) and some other French horror movies like Frontieres. All in all, nice list, but far from complete on one side and overcomplete on the other. |

Tough to make list IMO. It really depends on what one might find disturbing and this off course varies a lot. Street Thrash or for instance Last Cannibal World I didn't find that disturbing, for the latter I can think off some scenes that the general public might find disturbing, but after watching Horror(ish) movies for a good time now I tend to find other things/movies more disturbing. ![]() |

Yes, tough. It is always subjective to one's own experience. More lists: viewtopic.php?f=32&t=18345 viewtopic.php?f=32&t=14584 |
