I was just wondering.................... I play guitar for about 17 years, and am active is a few bands and projects. This consumes like 90 % percent of my spare time. so you call me an obssesed metalhead ![]() if you want check out the main bands I play in, links are listed below www.myspace.com/fondlecorpse oldschool deathmetal. razorback records released our "creaturegore" album in early 2009 ![]() the cover of the album has like 150 references to horror / movies ![]() supreme pain oldschool death metal, more blastbeat orientated metal age productions released our 2nd album early 2009 ![]() I think there are loads of download links available where one can d/l the complete albums. Maybe it's to someone's liking |

Nice. I'm playing guitar too. But I am a beginner. I used to read a book and learned about 8 chords, when I got bored of that. Then I looked into guitar lessons on the internet and found a great site (http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/) featuring a lot of guitar tabs. I'm pretty much a noob imho. I can only play the verses of a few songs that contain simply power chords. That is what makes fun. Some simple stuff I can play: Yes - Owner of a lonely heart AC/DC - Highway to hell AC/DC - Dirty Deeds Survivor - Eye of the tiger Black Sabbath - Iron men The Troggs - Wild thing Deep purple - Smoke on the water Status Quo - Matchstick men Chris Rea - Let's dance Lou Gramm - Midnight Blue Boston - More than a feeling Maybe you can suggest a few more? I mean well known songs with easy verses. |

you can't expect to post this kind of topic here without at least one knob joke ![]() I am talentless, i wish i did. I think the mistake was my mum forcing me as a child to learn piano, that's enough to put any child off learning an instrument. You've got to put some ace music on and get them to think its their choice ![]() |

there are a bunch of Black sabbath songs which mainly have power chord in them. the song heaven and hell for example............ also the rythem guitar parts for some songs on the piece of mind album from Iron Maiden are quite easy. I recall playing with this album many times back in the day, also the early metallica albums are fun to play. But I guess this gets to difficult for you but whats difficult, just practice like a million times, the way I did hahahaha good luck !! the website http://www.ultimate-guitar.com has some really good and tabs |
