Do you believe this? :o

The madness never stops, why do they have to make bad remakes of films that are already great.

By the way, have any of you seen the remake of the danish film nattevagten, IMDB: Nightwatch ? And what did you think of it ?

I guess is because most americans seem to have a phobia against movies not made in Hollywood..
And as we all know americans are the rulers of the world and we should all bow down at their feet..
Yes I'm being VERY sarcastic...

And as far as Nightwatch goes..the danish one is better IMHO..
It was Ewan McGregor who stared in the remake right? CRAP
And Nick Nolte? CRAP
Only good thing they did was getting the original director to do the remake as well..

funny, I did a similair thread in another forum about this.

They are gonna do The Eye, Pulse, Dark Water and a Tale of 2 Sisters. All asian.
The last one is still even playing in asian theatres.

They are out of ideas.

Even the movie Mute Witness, english movie, is being remade and is like 8 years old.

stupid.

And Nightwatch was not very scary or good.... I preferred the danish one too.

hehe, my motto
'i dont want to be prayed for, i want to be prayed to'

foriegn films is why i started using emule to get movies. in the usa we dont really have the choice to see most foriegn films, hollywood buys the distribution rights to movies like dark water and prevent them from getting here. i didnt even know other countries ever made movies (besides godzilla) until i started using emule. hollywood has about total control of what's popular culture here, and they are not going to let foriegners interfere and influence.

Didn't like the original Dark Water that much. In my opinion it was almost like a lame clone of Ringu...

Guess, only positive thing in that US remake is Jennifer Connelly. She's quite nice. :wacky:

This is an outrage. But save some anger for the moment you actually see it.

I heard the 'Pulse' remake was abandoned on account of it being to similar to the 'The Ring' remake. Figures since the two original movies were nothing alike at all...

I was gonna say that why anyone would wanna REMAKE 'Mute Witness' is beyond me, but then I started to think about it and I figured that it might acutally not be so silly after all. I mean, since remakes of good movies always turn out shitty, remakes of shitty movies might turn out better...? I'd much rather see a remake of Mute Witness than of 'Tesis'...

Are they gonna remake Lord of the Rings anytime soon? It's been 2 years allready.

I would personally put 2 dollars up for the "lets do a 'Hulk' remake" fund, or even better 4 dollars for a texas chainsaw massacre remake remake.

Neverwhere ?.. yeah, that would be cool. Though the miniserie isn't that bad. It's just wasn't in a way I imagined the story (from the book that is).
