Remember watching this on some german channel late at night as a young teenager...

It's about some kind of sect/cult (men in black robes, very original *lol*) that sacrifices young women by tieing them naked to a wooden pole amongs some kind of ruined tempel and cutting them with swords until they die..

Can't remember much more than that, but if anyone has any ideas? :wacky:

hehe, its a little known fact that german tv displays the oposite clothing colors(or colours) of the rest of the world. it's much like the direction of water in drains, has something to do with magnetic pulls. in the northern hemispheres toilet water flows clockwise down, while south of the equator, it flows counterclockwise up, yes, each flush causes clockwise brown twisters of poowater to explode from every toilet. massive flooding, swampmuck doodie everywhere called Coriolis force, which is actually caused by the earth's rotation. The effect's name is in honor of Gaspard G. Coriolis (died 1843), a French civil engineer.

it's always the french.

the blind dead series is decent. hehe, lesbians.
blind dead 3 wasnt that bad, either. the ohgodnotanotherone rip. but its cut and some parts kind of dont make sense.

i am an amazing fountain of misinformation. more amazing facts:stonehedge was built by seals!spanish and italian are the same language! and the first lightbulb was made by the egyptians, not edison. they used a clay urn filled with vinegar that had a copper posts and the inside plated.

and the first lightbulb ..... edison

That's a common misconception, Edison did not invent the light bulb! Joseph Swan invented the lightbulb, hell he even patented it in 1878. Edison was sued to buggery, and was forced to take swan on as a partner in the "Edison and Swan United Electric Company" (Edison bought swan's shares out eventually). Check an encyclopedia (competant one) or google if you don't believe me.

http://www.nationmaster.com/encyclopedi ... -A.-Edison

So now next time someone says that edison invented the lightbulb, you can be a smart arse and start the sentances with the satisfying... actually

i had read that some of those 'inventors' from way back ran schools and such and just took credit for everything invented there.
i believe its true the egyptians had the first lightbulb. they used the above urn with the vinegar and had a (i think) goat bladder ballooned at the top of the urn. i think i got the documentary about it laying around somewhere and it does seem possible.

Well it seems my good friend google came up with another claim, 1802 = Sir Humphrey Davy. Earliest reference to someone creating a lightbulb i found

Oh and without electricity you have a tourch, not a lightbulb, and I believe cavemen have that honour (creating fire)

errr, the chemical reaction of the copper and vinegar does cause electricity, the copper posts were inside the bladder, they worked like a filament.

i'm pretty sure im not just making this up.
