Isn't Will Smith your favourite actor ohgod? hehe 
Just reading the bullitin boards on imdb you can see how people are outraged 
We expect nothing less from Hollywood though. And it's definetly going to appeal to people that have no idea what the book i, robot is!!! So watch it rake in a fortune and next summer....i, robot 2! Starring Will Smith and martin Lawrence.....Twice the action, twice the comedy, twice the fun.... I can see the tagline now!!!! |

LOL.... but serious... i have just seen the movie trailer now... and its the worst animated computer graphic i have seen for ages.... wtf is going on here? even chuck norris didnt make crap like this... dont actors have shame at all, i am just wondering.... the book was intressting the movie is totaly crap... when money is everything i guess this is what we will get.... arrggh! someone shoot that movie director!!! |

Isn't it based on 'Caves of Steel' and not 'I, Robot'? Both in the Robot series granted, but... guess the name sounds cooler or something...

Look it's not I have anything against Willie (though if he dares to bring out some RnB single of this I'm gonna chainsaw on his ass) , it's just that .... he'll always be the prince of bell air...... a prankster/jester ..... I find him miscasted for such a serious story.... Robots are indeed a future threat to civilization....and I hate the fact people like me are being mocked about it.... "...plenty of time to prepare........" YEAHhhhhh Righhttttt.......every generation says that.....
I don't so much dread the day robots/androids/AI/walking talking trashcans become sentient..... I dread the day they'll develop taste/preference..... |

it?s done by Alex Proyas of The Crow & Dark City-fame which would have been a good sign, but looks like studios have taken over to make a Will Smith-movie outta this. i don?t have much faith in any of those sci-fi novels adapted to mvies anymore, after Blade Runner they stopped trying, now they just turn 'em into neat little action-flicks. |
