Not sure how many are interested, but there is a Dead Next Door game being developed for the PC. Yes it is based off of the cult classic by JR Bookwalter. JR will be the creative director of the game, and the whole thing will be headed up by Brad Gaffney. It's a first person shooter with the newest technology implemented. I will be working on textures for the game. I encourage everyone to check out the website and see what it's all about.

decent lowbudget slightly above amateur level movie, worth watching, and i am always interested in the possibility of a decent horror film.

yea d0c, can't say much about multiplayer at the moment. damn those NDA's! Rest assured the game will be really cool though.

multiplayer games are boring, that's for sure. make a nice storyline in a single player mode, with lots of variation in the gameplay and obstacles in it plz...

i agree id rather have a nice single player mode with a good story, and then a decent multiplayer to mindlessly frag players in teh face, but single player is what is desired most

partly agree, I'd say lan gaming is the best form, internet gaming is so crap, playing with or against someone you know is far better. Zero lag, better communication and co-operation, higher kill counts.
Same goes for consoles. LAN or in-the-room multiplayer are top notch sometimes.
However, I still go for single player games over crap like Quake 3 arena (which pisses me off royally because Quake1 is so good)

i agree i do like lan gaming especially for desert combat/bf vietnam/bf1942 its just so much easier to give commands and start an assault (and no not those films paul ) the most games i play mutliplayer are BFV, dc, bf1942 and RoN, for anyone not in the know thats Rise of Nations one of the best RTS games ever in the history of ever, if any of you guys play bf,dc or RoN send me a msg coz me and my mates are getting bored of the same old same old, and could do with some fresh faces to frag lol

when 90% of the ppl are connected to the internett, making a only singel player game is death that i can tell you, dont help with a good story... it will not sell as much as a game that have both..in 1996 singelplayer was ok, but not in 2004. a good singel player part is ok... a frag party is ok.... but a adventure where more ppl can join thogeter like a multiplayer adventure, to try solv the mystery online or lan with your friends.... that would be something awsome!!!... i have never seen any game with that yet!!!
anyway i guess you havent tryed much lan or online gaming john... go try it!

I used to play doom 1 & 2 with my brother using the old link cable through the Com port. was sorta fun.
oh and then I used to play Need for Speed 2SE whilst stoned with my buddy.
all in all I don't play much anymore. It's the least creative thing to do. I like watching films that make me think and I learn by them. games are like opium for the people...

ive played a 4player rpg/adventure game called Blaze & Blade Eternal Quest for the playstation, me and 3 mates wandering around hacking and slashing up beasties, was mucho fun only thing was u need a multitap and 4 controllers, luckily we had one but i agree d0c more games need to be like that where you team up with friend sto solve a mystery etc, resident evil outbreak is looking like that, you all have to work together as a team to survive and escape raccoon city, and you cant go off on rambo missions alone as different characters have different abilitys, for instance one character is great with herbs and healing items, where another is a master at lockpicking, another is good iwth guns, another with knives, etc
but i agree a game needs a strong single player experience aswell because not everyone has the net, or not everyone has a good enough connection to play on the net, hell theres even some people who dont have friends, luckily i dont fall into any of those catergories *phew*

opium and opium my friend.... its more social to play games with internet buddies than watching a movie alone... i can see you havent played much when you say this.. now there is a new game called sacred and it is very good maybe you should try that

when I want to be social I call up my friends and hang out or whatever... I'm tired of games because you don't make/create/think anything new for yourself! It's just a matter of following the preset lines and swallowing anything that comes your way.
