Went to a BUBBA HO-TEP meet-and-greet with Coscarelli this Friday in Tucson, and he mentioned that the IMDB page for this movie is completely bogus as there is absolutely no movement on a new PHANTASM. While he seemed genuinely pleased with Avery's script and effort, he felt it was unfilmable due to the budget it would require. Don did mention that he'd love to do a new one, and that Angus and Reggie were in great shape and ready to go.

Sad news, but the fact that he made BUBBA HO-TEP for under a million bucks makes me think that someday he'll be able to get this sucker going too. Fingers crossed.

Can't remember where, but I have read something last year that there will be another episode in the Phantasm tale. And that is will be done somewhere in 2005. Reason I read was that Angus Scrim doesn't have eternal life.
Don't know if that is true, but I will keep my fingers crossed. Phantasm r0xx0rs!

i read somewhere that in phantasms end they have to search through all the Tall Mans dimensions to find and destroy the original Jebediah Morningside to stop him becoming the tall man. forget where i read it but i definately read it somewhere

I read it on one of horror movies site... They said the director Don is going to direct Phantasm End, after he finish Bubba Ho-Tep sequel...

But, why making Bubba sequel, when funs wait about 10 years to 5th Phantasm sequel?

Because bubba ho-tep is better that all the phantasms? ;)
Probably pissed off a guy with the nick Phantasm with that comment, but imo its true. Bruce Campbell owns as Elvis.

No, Bruce is one of the Best, but I didn't like Bubba Ho-Tep much, I found it little boring... it's good, but personaly I love Phantasm more...

i can't speak for anyone else but i found bubba ho-tep an hilarious movie and i thought it went down a riot at the film festival it was premiered at (UK premiere at leeds :) )

I love phantasm, i mean i've ripped em, but i personally love Bubba more.

In fact i might watch it now :)
