1. This is a classic: A group of people come to some exotic island to find that the fruit is gone weird... They find some abandoned labaratories and it all looks really weird. Then they start disapearing one by one. In the end you learned that it was actually the scientist that had become a monster. Think it might have been a Jules Vernes story? And also think it's been made in 2 versions.

2. This is much more difficult. Think it was british, and I saw it on Sky-channel or something... It's about two people who say they are aliens and want to take people back to their home planet for a better life. Alot of people join and want to go, but we get the impression that all is not what it seams. One person tries to warn everyone, but they wont listen. It ended in some desert at night, with lots of flashing lights and stuff. The person trying to warn everyone was the only one left and when you finally got to see where the flashing lights came from it was from helicopters and alot of army dudes.. Think it might have been named something like 'Two visitors' but have been unable to find it at imdb.

i reckon your first movie is this one

http://imdb.com/title/tt0104049/

i remember having seen it about 5 times in one year as it was always shown late at night and where i used to work we was allowed to take tv's in on the night shift

[edit] if it's not this then it could be as PC_Arcade says....but if you haven't seen my suggestion go look for it cuz it's pure class

as for number 2.....no idea sorry :P

The summary for 'Danger Island' (aka 'The Precence') says it contains exploding fruit so I think you're right Bassline. Can't be too many movies with that... tnx. Hehe, look at the cast. Has a young Nicky Cox.

Now, about getting a copy....?

Shame about the other one. Remember it was quite good.

This might be it: Them

Also reminded me of "Not Like Us" and "The Silencers".

I've seen all three but can't remember much about them apart from vague details.

How about more clues? Kinda like searching on imdb using power search. Was it color, tv movie, 70's movie, english, french, etc?

Tried searching based on your info, but no luck... :(

hmm.. well the two people who might or might not be aliens were a man and one woman. I think the lead guy who tried to warn everyone was also one of the first to find out aboot it all. His girlfriend signs up with these 'aliens' and wont listen to anything he has to say.
Towards the ending, out in the desert there are lots of tents set up where all of these cultist people hang out. The lead guy runs from one tent to another but they all dismiss him.
The ending was very dramatic as everyone dissapeared behind a hill and all these colorfull flashing lights came out from there. He runs towards it but then he just sits down and cries I think.... the lights get closer and closer and when you finally think he's gonna get taken away too, the source of the lights are revealed to be army helicopters and lots of troopers. No one got to know what happened to all of the other people.. Kinda like 'K-Pax'.

I think the biggest clue would be the title though as I'm pretty sure it was something like 'two visitors' or 'two guests' or something along those lines..

Yes it was in color, english language. I thought it was a 80's film or maybe even older, but can't be sure. Might very well have been a tv movie, but can't be sure.

See if you can add a little more to the description of the others. It was extremely helpful...

'Burnt Offerings' was my big find. Was just watching it and realized it was a movie I had searched for forever... was beginning to think the movie was just a dream I had once. :wacky:
