What do you guys think about it not being renewed?

I have mixed feelings as a fan, on the one hand I want it to continue forever, on the other maybe it should go out still popular rather than dragging on too long, ala Buffy, and it becoming just another show.

I'm not a fan of this show. I could never understand what people saw in Buffy and then I had the same opinion about Angel. Perhaps somebody coul take this opportunity and explain this phenomenon to me.

Dunno, couldn't pin down a specific reason, guess it was simply a subject I like and was pretty easy going on the eyes, that was for Buffy. For Angel I watched the first ep simply cos it was a spin-off, never much liked Angel in BTVS, but it sorta grew on me, more of a "down and dirty" version of BTVS.

damn, I didn't know it hadn't been picked up again. Shame, Whedon will probably, *hopefully*, make a movie or something though. As opposed to buffy, it isn'tt the same tired shit every episode. Better writing and cast I thought.

Didn't like the first series too much, but when they culled some people and made it more violent it was a lot better. Better than buffy ever was anyway. I agree about angel in buffy, but that's mainly because I thought early buffy episodes sucked ass, got worse, then got a bit better in the end.

Not everyone seems to like the new series but I think its one of the best, hell the bit about the insane slayer hacking people to bits was ace I thought the ww2 episode was funny too

I felt BTVS was at it's peak in season 3 and 4, and went slowly downhill after that.

As to Angel, yeah I think season 1 was a bit bollocks, but has gotten better each season, and I have really enjoyed the current season, just gonna watch the new ep, cant wait to see angel as a muppet LOL The bit with the nutball slayer was great, and also let us know the CoW was not completely gone, possible spin-off?

Heh spud, the release I see did mention the possibility of a few TV movies in the future, hope that pans out OK to. :-o

All that balls about those commandos were worse, s4 and 5? Then Series 1 then 6, then 2 and 3, then 7 was better. All are overrated some what, and Angel is better than all of them (bar maybe an episode or two) thus far.



LOL, yeah that looked pretty amusing. I wait for the xvids, the mpg that comes out on wednesday is poor quality. As for the CoW (watchers right?), they blew up, its the new and improved Watcher's featuring gay-boy Andrew.


It's strange though, Joss Whedon's projects i tend to loathe (he doesn't seem to have a beyond shallow-quirky-annoyance grasp of characters, he's good at the light hearted stuff like buffy, but he totally sucks on doing proper horror projects (see: Alien4)), I guess he's not doing that much with Angel that's why it's much better or something

Final? was quite entertaining. A bit of the old ultra-violence, wasn't expecting a few little dittys and all that.

TV movies are still a possibility, just hope they have a decent budget. I would also like to see Wes come back, I mean he's dead but that don't mean shit in the Buffyverse does it? LOL

yeah, I thought that was a great ending, I hate it when people pussy foot around. I thought it was a brave move to have not everyone survive, which is what I was expecting.

The gun bit was odd, but you could tell he had something he was hiding behind his back.

X-files was generally good, had it's ups and downs tho like most other series. Transformers was cool, when I was a kid, so was M.A.S.K. and thundercats LOL CSI I seem to hate with a vengeance, no idea why tho.

X-files never got better than tooms though... and those episodes were in the first series Too much boring shit about aliens, and it died round about series 5 or 6. Good start though.

CSI is dramary tosh.. I hate most american shows to be honest, whether it be NYPD green, cold case, generica or whatever. The network execs over there are complete chimps

And wats worse it all shits its way onto british tv... of course nobody watches it and it bombs terribly and ends up being shown at 1:16am or something stupid But just to have this crap on the tv makes most people, like Tak it seems, hate it with a vengence.

Yeah ofcourse, when one is in his early days some things have a greater impact................... Like i watched a couple of flicks i've downed from this site and watched them and thought it was utterly BORING CRAP lol and still in my memory they were listed as one Hella kewl movie

As for CSI i think it a pretty good series, the same goes for X-files but i must admit that i only followed the first 4 season. And well as for the Transformers hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm THEY RULE
