damn, been some years..

I remember it as being a rather strange film. Think it started with a guy going off to transylvania and was bit by a werewolf...
Got back to america, but was always followed by a guy playing sad tunes on a violin. vague I know.

Might be a little old.. maybe late 70's or early 80's, but can't really be sure.

I suspect the title might've been like 3 words, but damn if I can remember what they were.

Think the lead guy might've been a teenager. he came back to school and found everything run down...
but I might just be confusing with Teen Wolf.
