The Horror Channel are showing Don't Answer The Phone at 10pm on Sunday evening, this is one of my most sought-after movies from the VN2 book :D

However it is listed as being 18 certificate and according to the VN2 book

For those who don't already know X was the pre-1983 equivalent of the present day 18, so will it be cut?

I have the original World of Video 2000 release of this.

It's too fucked up for my tastes though, I prefer When A Stranger Calls, less sexual violence...

Are you looking for the pre-cert or are you just trying to get hold of any copy? Maybe we could trade if you have some other pre-certs :wink:

No, just looking for any copy. I tend not to collect pre-certs anymore, lack of house space means I can't collect these and DVD's. Cheers anyway :beerchug:

Did anyone else see this one and can vouch for whether or not it was cut? I've never seen it before but I didn't see any 2 minutes of sadism that would upset the BBFC, so I guess it was the old "X" version :( . Top film though 8)
