Last twenty years only - ok- Make that 28....
Your 10 worst movies in random order made after 1975, a nice number.....

So no easy pickin on some laughable 50's flick or ed wood...

And shall we make it even harder ?

NO TROMA FLICKS allowed !!!!!!
NO Andreas Schnaas shit allowed !!!!!!
No other german junk allowed !!!!!!( )

Allowed : One argento and one jess franco.....
Allowed : if you find an entire series stinks , you may nominate as one

Yes Annoying amount of rules but otherwise the lists are gonna be sooooooooo predictable............

Here goes : from my head

Troll 2
Blue demon Y Zovek contra la invasion de los muertos
Horrror Planet ( Inseminoid )
Night Train to terror ( "come on and dance with me" 3x)
Puppet master series ( well , at least from part 4 on)
Susperia ( YES , I did say that !!!)
Ghoulies IV
...
...
...

I'll keep 3 open - suggest you do so to - I'm sure I'll recall something else hideous....

Series count as one in the following unless a specific movie is mentioned, since 1980:

Alone
Blair Witch Project 1 +2
Ghosts of Mars
Hole, The (2001)
Jason X
Leprachaun 1-5
Long Time Dead
Mangler 2
Puppet Master Series
Vampires: Los Muertos

Special Mentions:
Nightmare on Elm Street 3 - 7
Friday the 13th Series
Retro Puppet Master
Queen of the Damned
Ewok Adventure + Battle for Endor

I am very forgiving of low budget horror films that are poor, they have some retro/humour value to them, but higher budget films are generally just crap.

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, why would anybody put Troma's or Argento's movies on a list of movies that suck  Schnass movies are pretty bad, but I like 'em in some way.

I haven't seen many horrormovies, at least not as many as all of you other guys I believe, but to come up with some:

Iceplanet (alien/predator ripoff mixed with star trek)

Jeepers Creeper (The story kind of scary, then things started to get stupid and then the monster showed itself and ruined it all)

Scream (horror ? NO)

You gonna hate me so much for this one, but I also disliked H20 or whatever it's called.

oh god how could i have forgotten Scream? Damn it, yes that was pretty bad, but the sequels even more so. Jeepers Creepers was crap too.

I've blocked a lot of films out of my mind, but I'm sure there are more terrible ones than I suggested :)

In no particular order:

C.H.U.D. II - Yeah, go right ahead and tarnish the orginal with a stupid sequel.
Hemoglobin - Sorry Rutger, but you should be ashamed.
Saturday The 14th Strikes Back - I wanted to laugh, but it made me cry.
Jaws IV - Yeah, right!
It - TV - Ok, lets convince everyone that hasn't read the book that it sucks. Sorry Ritter, R.I.P.
The Shining - TV - Sure, Kubrick trashed the book to some degree, but I consider them separate works. This one just made me mad.
Don't Look Down - Crap.
Queen Of The Damned - ?
Blade II - Saw this trash in the theatre...
Ishtar - Not a horror movie, but it is horrific enough to count.

I agree with some above, but there are so many to choose from, I tried to pick ones not selected.

ah, they pale in comparison to some i have. some of my ones cant be qualified as movies, they are a force of nature, like a stupidity tornado or a shitstorm. these movies dare you to watch them, then taunt you while you do.

these i actually feel anger/hatred at when watching
demon keeper
forever evil
shriek of the mutilated
horror of the red planet(i thought it was a parody for the first 10 minutes, nope. it just sucks)
necropolis
-if u have or seen these, i am sorry.i dont even consider them movies.

these below im sure some people like, i am not one of them.
(dis)honorable mentions-
camp blood
frightmare
hellgate
99% of roger corman movies
burnt offerings
scream of the wolf
amityville 4(or anything with patty duke, really)

i'm sure i have more i hate, but i repressed the memories.

I've watched so many crappy ones recently that I can't even recall all of them, but here are the ones that came to my mind at the moment. (in no particular order)
Utter garbage;
May
Carrie 2
Joy Ride
Freddy's Dead (NOES 6)
Darkness Falls
Bad Moon
Blair Witch Project
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Scream 3
Hellraiser 5

(I actually like the gory ones  )
Surprisingly, all of them are pretty new ('91 - '03). So only conclusion is that film makers have lost their touch to make good horror movies, like those "good 'ol" 70's exploitation/slashers :P;)

@spud: ok man, you're now on my shit-list! 'Hole' was way cool...

and why does everyone hate 'Queen of the Damned'? not only you guys but imdb seams to have damned it too.
Me and my friends have seen it like 6 times now.
Alayah was born (and dead) for that role. The way she hungers for blood and death makes my mouth water. She shares the throne of the most beautiful black woman ever on film, together with Lisa Bonet in 'Angel Heart'.
The plot was quite enthralling IMHO. It depicts vampires the way that made me love them. It's all about lust and pure instinctiall hunger for only the most basic needs: Blood and love. And the talamascan girl who cannot help but being drawn toward the darkness that has always lurked inside her. I've only seen such great depiction of vamps once more and that's in 'Kindred - The Embraced'.
I really liked the music too. both the score and the soundtrack. Specially the little fiddle tune played on the beach.

Now for my shit-list, I'll try to find more that hasn't been mentioned:

Halloween
Salo
The Lamp
Cellar Dweller
Cherry Falls
Insomnia (american remake) - maybe not horror, but oh so bad.
Independence Day - THE worst movie ever IMO.
999-9999
13 Ghosts (remake)
The Ring (american remake)

eh, I hate remakes.

Queen of the Damned is an abomination if there ever was one.Beyond the fact they couldn't get any decent actors for this movie..beyond the fact they basically took a dump on Anne Rices novels...even beyond the fact that they tried combining 2 books into one movie. If you look past all that...It's just another Mtv movie that tries to be a horror flic.Lestat is rolling over in his grave as I write this.Every person that had something to do with the making of that peice fo garbage should be rounded up and ritually staked through the heart.

@ PrayeR - Both It(TV) and The Shining(TV) made my list not only because I thought them to be below average, but more so because of what they should have been.

@John_Doe - Queen Of The Damned is probably not in my top 10, but definitely on the list. Been awhile since I have seen it, and can't list specifics, but there is that little stamp of unapproval in my head for it.

@Iconoclast - Seems like the older the movie gets the more entertaining it becomes for reasons not intended. Maybe the newer crap movies will be properly aged in 20 years or so.

@JD, you have a go at us for putting QotD in our list then you put Halloween in yours :o Without Halloween there'd have been no slasher movies. Thi13en Ghosts was an okay film, there is so much more to choose from in the big book of hollywood balls :) You didn't even mention Leprachaun

I personally thought Alayah was a pisspoor actress. I thought the film itself was a terrible and pathetic mismangle of Anne Rice's groundbreaking literature... the plot was an absolute mess. I agree with DxaKrator entirely on the rest.

The Hole just stank. Boring! I really did not like that film.

That's why I put them two on my list

Halloween??....HALLOWEEN???! Did I read that correctly? it wasn't a typo?...no? Geez, how can anyone seriously pick Halloween as one of their worst horror movies in existence?? Halloween is one of the greatest horror movies of all time.....Ok, I can understand that some people might feel differently, and not really like it that much, BUT, to name it as one of the worst ever is completely ridiculous!

Also, I think Halloween III often gets treated a little unfairly, ok so it has got nothing to do with the rest of the Halloween series, and isn't nearly as good, but if you just think of it as a completely seperate movie on it's own, it's actually not that bad. It's far from great, but it's watchable ;)

I can't be bothered to think up a list right now, but I'll name one:

Burial Ground (1980)
