from this weeks newspaper here in the states: special advanced screening   sometimes special isnt so special for everyone that always tells me that we get movies faster , sometimes we do sometimes we dont . i anxiously await the screening of "the sex lives of the potatoe men" funny im so into the international movies and stuff here , that i didnt know they were even gonna release it here at all |

yeah sometimes it works out like that for you the rare occasion, on the other hand, Dog Solider was shown on US tv at the same time it was getting a cinema release over here

I remember that. I was watching the Twilight Zone and saw an ad for a movie called Dog Soldiers, then when it hit DVD in the USA everybody was calling it one of the best horror movies in years. I thought them nuts for saying that about a Sci-Fi channel original movie.

lol, tis an all out british horror movie.... shot in belgium Sci-fi cuts were not video but audio only, seems a lot of americans have a complaint about too much fucking swearing in their fucking films which is fucking silly.
I don't think they said cunt in it from what i recall, so whats the big fucking deal? 
Buckywheat captured the scifi broadcast for us

Yeah, I heard that too. I have noticed that some of our, inbred , American cousins know what us Brits are talking about, but there are many more who do not LOL Silly wankers.
Also, didn't Sega mean something dodgy in Italian? :edit: Now I remember, there was somebody on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer staff called Thomas Wanker. I used to snigger everytime I saw the name, yeah I know childish, but WTF I am a bloke, we are allowed. |

yeah ya wankers , my friends from Ireland and England used the term , usually i was drunk and so were they . but you can tell it wasnt complimentary
here chips are deep fried and hard potato slices , served in bags , they suck for the most part french fries (somewhat simmiliar to your chips , but not blanched before frying) are not much better |

Problem here is a tiny number of people left from this tiny island, and inbred from a smaller crop so the gene-pool is more of a small puddle, whereas of course, we* are the Creme de la creme of europe, what with Roman, french, etc. and who ever else invaded us
So yeah, we call your bluff, you can't get away with having four eyes and an extra arm and put it down to 'coincidence' that your brother was also your father
*Britain: Excluding wales, who are actually all the imbred english from ye olde times... my theory is, that when we were invaded, the original inhabitants who were all related ran off and hid in Wales... think about it, it explains it perfectly
