Alternate Versions for
Haute tension (2003)

*The South Korean theatrical re-release and DVD release
has cuts totaling under a minute to all the murders. Also
a brief shot of a severed hand next to a phone is missing.

*German rental version was cut by 67 seconds for a
JK/SPIO approval. Retail version was cut even more
(ca. 1 minute) to qualify for a "Not under 18" rating
from the FSK.

*Lions Gate cut 1 minute for US Theatrical Release to
get an "R" rating and also dubbed the film in English
using Marie's real voice for her part. New Koren Special
Edition 2-disc set is uncut with English subtitles. There
is also a PAL disc from Hong Kong that is uncut and in
English.

*The Region 2 UK release from Optimum is fully uncut.
It features Commentary from Cecile De France and
Alexandre Aja as well as features on the director and
make-up artist.

yeah, well think about the status of governments these days, the censors got decked and we're apparantly 'center left' in terms of comparison.

There's been many instances where we've got uncut and the states are self censored.

I'm grateful, but i still think the BBFC overstep their bounds greatly
