I don't think either are prequels. Anacondas is the sequel to Anaconda, as far as I know.

You know how they say all sequels are crappier than their originals?
Be hard to imagine how this sequel could possibly be any worse than the original.
Although any movie with Ice Cube in it does take on a certain charm, IMO.
