WARNING!!!!! SPOILERS FOR 'DEAD RINGERS'

just some thoughts... been a while since I last watched it.

eh, at the risk of sounding sexist I must say this might be one of those things only men get..?
I mean, the idea of having a twin brother (or maybe not so much a brother, as just a copy of yourself) and swapping who goes out with a girl is not a strage one to me. Wouldn't that be cool? Could have so many funny situations.

As for the killing, I think it was not meant to be that but a 'separation' of the siamese twins.. as they were so much connected that the one had to do what the other did (eg. take drugs, fall into an abyss). That's why they had to be 'sepparated' so that their lives could finally go thier different ways... only it failed and as one died, the other had to too.

This can also be translated into all kinds of philosophical babble. 'Noone can escape themself' 'Don't supress the horrible, or it will come back to haunt you' 'You can never truley hide who you really are'

It also tell us about bonds between people who love eachother which are so strong, they actually feel what the other person feels. (heard stories like the man who crashed a plane while flying solo in some desolate place, but was rescued due to his wife suddenly getting an imense feeling of despair and told the rescue chopters exaclty where to go?)
Well, what if these feelings are not positive anymore? If one gets sick, the other one too... etc etc.

maybe I should watch it again too, soon.
