Yes, it got great review sound bites in its advert. All from crappy papers mind... of and some idiots said '...the best horror movie since The Blair Witch Project'. Someone want to break it to him that a) there's been some really ace horror movies out over the past few years b) the Blair Witch Project is terrible.

Everytime a horror film comes out some numpty says that

Just watched it - whilst there are some plot holes I was impressed by the film overall. Acting was a little ott too - and at times it was unintentionally funny.

But I also felt disturbed as well, and there were some good horrific moments, particularly at the beginning. Oh and the ending - if you haven't seen it yet, don't read anything about it as the whole movie will be spoilt (and don't look on imdb either - too many reviewers there giving the game away). Well fwiw neither I nor the missus had a clue whodidit - though we spent alot of the movie speculating. Nice film though............8/10

9/10 for me.
Saw this on the opening weekend.
Loved it, I had no clue who, what and where etc etc.

Really good thriller.

See it before you find out more

i saw it today and i gotta say that it is way too different than i thought it would be. i thought, this was a slasher flick. but it's not. well i couldn't find any plot holes in the story. the beginning reminded me of 'Cube'(two people in the same room, they don't remember anything). there are some scary scenes but in fact it's the atmosphere that scares you a lot. and you'll never guess the ending... 9 outta 10. one of the best movies i've seen in the last few years.

I gotta say I loved this film. Not sure why tho, just seemed to strike a chord with me, maybe cos it is the same shit I would do if I thought I could get away with it LOL

I didn't like the screener version, firsttime I watched was just now.

Was to much like THE CUBE, and really hated those movies for some reason?

I normally watch a movie all the way though, but fuck.
I pressed pause about 8 times, NO SHIT, also cooked dinner in between the movie.

Maybe I'm missing something????

I liked Silence of the Lambs better.=P

WTF!!!!! Did we see the same film?

The acting was so terrible, even Lloyd Kaufman wouldn't have accepted it. Everyone were just bad bad bad. Damn anoying to behold trashbin actors getting to play roles like these. Some good preformances could lent at least some merit, but alas none were to be found.
The dialogues was awfull.
The plot hoes more apparent than the actual plot. And the rest was just a jumble of silly clich?s, seen thousand times before. They did nothing but steal ideas from all over the place, most noticably Cube, Seven and even Ringu.
The first time the villian was shown on screen I said "oh, no. Please don't let it be him. That would be too fucking obvious". The rest of the film I basically sat and predicted every damn thing. Anoyed the hell out of my buddy, when all my predictions came true, and I probably ruined it for him, but I was just as sad to be correct, myself.

The only thing that was kinda cool, and could've made a great chilling scene, was the one with the guy stuck within all the barbed wires and shit, but that sped by in seconds.
Imagine it reshot with long, slow takes and tiny cuts being inflicted everywhere, in painful detail, as the terrified victim tries to escape. The tension raises, he becomes more and more anxious, the door shuts, he eventually goes mad and getting a major arterie cut. Then a long cut of him crying for help while he's bleeding to death...

And what the fuck was the jigsaw puzzle thing about? Did we ever get an explaination for that, cause it eluded me.

Never mind John_Doe
Sorry you didn't like it :(

I didn't think too much into it when sat in cinema and just enjoyed the scary parts!
I take it your not a fan of Danny Glover or Cary Elwes?

For me at least I can never guess where films are going (6th Sense shocked me!) - So I always enjoy these types of films coz I'm dumb
