If you're like me you get tired of watching the same cheery, feel good holiday family bullshit around christmas time. I need a break from all the happiness but I wanna keep the Christmas spirit so my question to you is. What is your favourite holiday horror flick to watch?

Some might say Silent Night Deadly Night, others might mention Don't Open Till Christmas. I'm not sure if Elves makes the cut or not but I have to say my favourite Christmas horror would have to be Black Christmas.

Anyone who's seen Black Christmas knows that this was one of the first 'OMG, the killerz in the haus' movies and it was done really well. The acting is fine (even if it does have Margot Kidder). The obscene phone calls that these girls receive through the movie sound like multiple people, all going nutz, laughing, crying, screaming at the same time. Its truly :-o and to think that we, the audience knows that this THING is up in the cellar, just heghtens the tension effectively.

Anyone who hasn't seen this one, make sure you pop it in this season. DO IT!!!! :o

A bit of Christmas horror trivia for everyone. There was a sub-par killer Santa movie made in 1980 called To All A Good Night. It was the directorial debut of a certain David Hess. I'm certain you all know who he is.

Last Christmas day I left my family downstairs watching TV while I watched Silent Night Deadly Night, thought at the time repeat this year but with Silent Night Bloody Night which I still intend to do. Kept it for a year without watching it ready for Saturday :)

You people are so wrapped up in your sinful, twisted, corrupting Horror movies that you've forgotten real quality.

How can you like Gremlins and A Nightmare Before Christmas over A Charlie Brown Christmas?

Charlie Brown RULES!!! I mean...GOOD GRIEF!!!

My favorites would be Gremlins 1 & 2!
As for real hooror "Silent Night, Deadly Night" I really did enjoy that movie.

Anyway, I'm not Christian, so tomorrow I'll probably end up going out to see a (non-horror) movie.

urgghh, unbelievable, Channel 4 has cut Gremlins 2

Some of the bits cut out are just stupid, like when the psycho gremlin is about to drill Billy's teeth, he's supposed to say "Is it safe?", and thusly missing the reference and the point of the whole scene...
