It doesn't seem like many people know this movie, I found it by mistake the other day.

It's a short movie (32 minutes) and the prequel for Evil Dead

IMDB:Within the Woods

It's pretty spread, I know that there's full source on this one (the 308 mb file, comment says it's bad quality)

Within the Woods (Evil Dead prequel - Sam Raimi).mpg

There's also a 507 mb file, which also seems like it's spread, doing a search it finds 11(3) for the 308 and 5(3) for this one. I've added both to my list and I will repport back later.

Within The Woods.avi

I hope that everybody loves me now

People *always* like people who wear masks, I dunno what the psychology behind it is. Probably because they can appear less human and then can therefore be capable of anything.

I dunno why its just in most places where there is a dude with a mask they always root for that guy (Michael Myers, Leatherface, Jason, Hannibal Lector [okay he only has it for a while but it's significant] in the movie world... hell i was flicking through the tv on saturday and people root for Wreslters with masks (probably more to do with the fact that the dude was doing summersaults and crap though lol).

Boba Fett is cool for that reason i suspect. Any psychologists in the house?

Hey, just to make you guys jealous, I saw Within the Woods on the big screen at a film festival in the UK many years ago. I think the quality was pretty poor back then, so the poor quality of the bootleg is no surprise!!

hella cool and why didn't you video camera it for us?

You would think with all the damn DVD editions of the Evil Dead (*another* has been released this month) they'd cram it on one of the discs. :(

It was supposed to be an extra feature on th Book of the Dead edition of Evil Dead, but as usual there were "licencing problems" and it didn't get released.

Footnote : For "licensing problems", read : "if we put this on the disc we've got nothing to tempt people to pre-order any of the future 'special editions' of the movie"

:matrix: Evil Dead SE's

It'll probably appear on the six disc Evil Dead Trilogy Director's Cut Special Edition Box of the Dead before Dawn Boomstick Alternative Bootleg Edition.

masks? eh who knows. I imagine it just adds to the inhuman mystery. One that really stuck out when they unmasked that guy from 8mm. He seemed, or i guess my imagined potential for what sort of 'person' he would look like, was sort of a shock when he was unmasked and put his glasses on.

i got some halloween were they show myers face unmasked. i figured he was really Kirk Cameron, but nope, some black haird dude.

that whole jason vorhees mutant looking face was a let down, i thought.

and they remove boba fetts mask.......

Bobba Fett is actually a muppet, you see him in muppet form in Episode II (infact he'll look identical to his dad, what being a clone and all).

i hadnt watched the last starwars. phantom menace i had too high epectations for, nothing could have been good enough to fill it. man, i saw all the 4,5, and 6 when they first showed at the movies, they warped me into the marinegreen killingmachine i am today. them original starwars had real rolemodels, and i was at the impressional age when i saw them, so ever since i was a kid, i always wanted to grow up to be just like my hero, jabba the hut's little monkeybitch.
