The fictional world of Royston Vasey is facing apocalypse and the only way to avert disaster is for our nightmarish cast of characters to find a way into the real world and confront their creators. From present day Soho to the fictional film world of 17th Century Britain, the residents must overcome countless bizarre obstacles in their bid to return Royston Vasey to safety. In addition to featuring the most beloved characters from the original The League of Gentlemen TV series, this darkly hilarious movie adventure will also bring to the screen a whole host of new characters and cameo performances from numerous famous faces.

Wondered what they were up to and imdb had it hidden away.

This is hilarious btw:

Dwayne Dibley?

Speaking of which, there's two BBC series with films out this year Red Dwarf and League of Gentlemen. not only are they two BBC series, they're two of the best BBC series.

League of Gentlemen, if not anything else, will be very,. very well directed and really twisted. Series one and two are awesome, and although series 3 seems to much for some people, I loved that just as much, really horror :)

Reason I posted this is that the BAFTA award for Victoria Wood had the League doing a little bit, and they plugged the film in which Victoria Wood also stars apparantly....

Wonder if they'll dig up all their old characters? Tubbs is on the teaser trailer so they all be back :)

Cool. :)

Just like Shaun had cameos from LoG.

Can't wait to see the movie, good it's only a few months.

Hhhm, League of Gentleman was an OK venture in my opinion. I can see why it is so liked, but it was just a little off for my sense of humour to tolerate for long.

Don't get me wrong, if I am hopping stations and come across it, it does get watched, but I could just not watch it in the quantities I could watch Red Dwarf or Rik Mayall stuff.

Each to their own yeah?

Red Dwarf movie is gonna be real cool, and Dr Who is back soon, but Billie Piper as his assistant? WTF? That ho is gonna be more annoying than Bonnie Langford.
