Check these guys out - this isn't dedication anymore - it's OBSESSION

http://www.midnight1.com

These guys scourn the earth obtaining true UNCUT versions - albeit sometimes at the cost of pic quality.....

Where did you think the guy I bought Alien 2 -sulla terra from , got his copy...

Use this as a (second) reference wether a movie is cut or not - you'll be surprised how many of that so called UNCUT vipco/ anchor bay crap STILL IS CUT !!!

Look at their catalogue ; you'll find titles you've never heared of !

Downside : a tape costs almost as much as a dvd :; above $ 20 !!!
But if you want it really badly....they're pretty much the last resort if you can't find some rare thing.....

No need to thank me *cough*

eh, if they dont deliver to your country, have someone (you can trust) be the middle man. cashier's check receipts, money orders, etc, so u dont get screwed. if the guy who lives in that country orders them, then privatley mails to the countries that they are banned in, it usualy can work out ok. as long as you dont put "CONTRABANNED ITEMS SEARCH HERE" on the label, or use canabis to pad the case instead of foamies.

Suggested labels:

"Anthrax"
"If itching or skin flaking results after handling this package, consult a mortician"
"If this package is not ticking, please recheck the wiring and ensure the timing device is secured"

This place used to be my main horror collectors buying site, along with video search of miami, but they turned total shite and never sent me or my mate the stuff we ordered one time.....wernt really interested. They may now be better cos i heard the usa main branch of em took over a bit more...it was the usa branch i ended up complaining to. Will be interesting to see if they are back on track as they used to be fantastic for rare and dodgy horror

It's a good source since blackestheart.com shut down. Blackest heart media is where I scored my Japanese LD of the tru uncut Braindead. Unfortunately the copy released in the states as Dead Alive uncut is indeed cut and badly. Scenes are juxtoposed and some scenes are deleted from all copies of Dead Alive uncut. Anchor Bay usually ain't too bad - but they too do release some as uncut that still have scenes edited out. I think it's due to the fact that they want to do a quality release and if the old stock is bad or unobtainable they don't include those scenes. Vipco I just don't trust.

Well,if midnight doesn't have it uncut , no company has....but they don't have those fancy touch up labaratories those big studios have so the pic quality is often poor - especially their vhs.....but remember they're doing it all by them selves...

As for vipco and anchor bay - it's roughly 50-50 ; Both sometimes release true uncut and sometimes NOT : I'm currently hunting tobe hooper's 1976 eaten alive ( in england known as Death trap) ;vipco has it but runnin 2 mins shorter !!!!Anchor bay is foul too, recently releasing VAMPYRES (197?) in the uk; In america the company BLUE Underground has recently released IT's version of vampyres UNCUT !
And the german company DRAGON same song; sometimes uncut sometimes not,ie MAYA ( I WANT MY MONEY BACK !!! :matrix: )

Ugh, I have it on vhs and it sucks bigtime! Really shitty movie. Anoying actually. I guess it was Tobe's attempt at a 'spin-off' sorta of TCM. Just alot of blabbering.
