Literally I've just finished watching this. All I can say is what a wonderful piece of cinema.

I had no idea what to expect, or had I read much about it beforehand (better sometimes). But I was blown away - so different and very enjoyable in many respects.

It's difficult to liken it to anything I've ever seen before, but I for one completely recommend it. :D

Watched it too and liked it very much. After a short time to get used to the style it was a very, very cool movie. I liked the comics too and think it?s a great adaptation. Unfortunately it will take some timme, till it comes to cinemas in my country, but as soon as it is out I?ll watch it on the Big Screen again :-)

I heard this movie stunk, its supposed to be a critically acclaimed comic book (as far as comic book critics go anyway  ) turned to mediocre at best.

I doubt i'm going to spend my slackly earned cash on this movie to be honest, all I know of the franchise is a terrible pc game that i uninstalled immediately after installing :(

So the negative reviews have put me off i have to say.

I really enjoyed the film. Casting is awesome and the feel / look of the movie is something you have never seen before. Miller's comics are absolutely amazing, and I think that when the man himself has had the oportunity to co-direct the movie it has had excellent impact on the outcome.

The film is extremely violent, but the violence is not there for the sake of blood and gore...

escpecially Mikey Rourkes performance was great... I'll probably spend my 10€ (plus 10€ for wife) to cinema and ~30€ to DVD when it hits the stores
