Just a quickie, who here is waiting with baited breath for phantasm 5? I know I am, especially since Bruce "the chin" Campbell is supposed to be in it.
Also on a sidenote, I was over atthe message board for Freddy vs Jason at IMDB and someone on there mentioned that the reason phantasm 2 and 3 are not on DVD is cos they are owned by different studios, but I PM'd the guy and told him I had all 4, and that the first 3 were actually in a set, and that you can now get the first 3 for just ?5.99, he PM'd back and said I was a lying fucker. Needless to say my flight is booked and in the style of Jay and Silent Bob Strike I am gonna beat the shit outta that cum stain on the trousers of humanity.

Nice, but I'm still missing Phantasm 4: Oblivion. Any hint where I could find it?
Is this <a href=http://forum.dead-donkey.com/viewtopic.php?t=266&highlight=phantasm>rip</a> good or are there still problems with it?

I have the third one on DVD and have ripped it, so I am a god of time and the laws of physics in his mind
The box set is/was on sale @ MVC, they sold the box in my local one last sale though According to the box, it was made by a company called "digital Entertainment", find their homepage and tell the guy he's an ignorant prick from me for flaming when he was so blatantly wrong.
Phantasm is actually quite miraculous in being a series where (at least for the first three) each sequel was better than the previous one.

Graag, that rip was mine, but the disk has some bad problems when played thru a PC for some reason so I pulled it from release b4 it spread. I "think" there is another rip out there tho so have a look around.
I was gutted cos it plays fine on a standalone player, but the disk just would not work thru a PC, and trust me I tried enuff PC's, around 6 or so I think.
@spud, how much was the box set in MVC? I only ask cos one of my suppliers does a range of budget DVD titles for 5.99 each, including the first 3 phantasm's, but MVC charged me 39.99 for the boxset, altho this was b4 they got a budget release, just interested whether MVC are still tryin to sell at full price.
As for them getting better as they went along except for the last, I actually quite liked the fourth installment, just hate endings that leave more questions than they answer.

Started at ?39.99, after a month or two, dropped to ?29.99 and then ?24.99. I think it was on sale for ?19.99 when the box set was sold.
BTW, i regularly check the horror dvds out which is why I was watching the box set price drop Now where's Child's Play 1 DVD damn it
/me slaps universal
Also I wasn't saying anything about the 4th not an improvement over the first 3, I only neglected to mention it because I still haven't seen it properally so can't comment on whether the trend continues past no. 3

Me neither. Just checked IMDB. Since it is 2003 I don't feel too embarressed about it. Just: Where, where, where, gimme, gimme, gimme

Does Bruce actually star in this movie or is it just a cameo(i.e. Waxwork II)?

There isnt actually a fifth yet, but it is real close now. Bruce campbell is keen, so are the regulars, and I also heard they have most of the budget sorted. Plz dont ask for sources cos I cant remember, but it looks cool.
