Does anyone know or has the possibility to verify whether this one is uncut: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASI ... 32-0130004? I can't find any info about the cut of this release, and although the total playing time is 99 minutes, I somehow don't trust this edition. How does it compare to German Red Edition? |

okay firstly, a warning about dvdcompare. Their definition of uncut is equal to theatrical runtime, not actually censor status. Despite that its probably right The uk has never censored this movie. The BBFC have stated that they understand the movie was in good humour and whilst several other censors (more than just the us and sweden i'm almost certain of that) have cut it, the BBFC have not touched it. There are alternative cuts, but these are not to gore. There's a scene with the queen at the begining, presumably to tie in with Bad Taste, but the movie past the point remains unchanged. I think there's another version with a few changed scenes, but the gore is identical. So i think its safe to assume its uncut. BTW, http://www.bbfc.co.uk lists runtimes and whether they have applied cuts. |

The Swedish censors did not cut out anything in this movie. It was one of the first, if not the first, splatter movies that went untouched on to the big screens here in Sweden. |
