Looking for a movie, not sure about the title though

Hi,
I'm looking for a movie I saw when I was kinda little.
I'd really like to rewatch it now, but I can't quite remember the title.
I THINK it was called "Night of Violence" but I couldn't really find anything out, because that title was used as a working title/foreign title by other movies as well. It had to be a 70s or 80s production.
Not very expensive stuff, but pretty good and clever. (At least I thought so back then :lol:

It was about a (married/unmarried) couple, that gets lost in a big american city (I think it was New York). As the night breaks in, the couple is hunted by gangmembers and terrorized.
They kinda go through hell and are unable to reach any help, like they're in the middle of a ghost town. ...a lot of stuff happens...
Now, in the morning when the sun comes up, they (or maybe just one survived, don't remember) realize, that they're actually in the middle of the city again, crawling with people.

Sorry, this cry for help probably sounds pretty stupid but I neeed to find that movie ! :wacky:

Update : It's DEFINATELY not "Night of Violence / Notti di Violencia" 1966. The movie was in full color !

I think it is this one: Final Jeopardy.

I saw this a few years back on TV and it was surprisingly good for a TVM.

I'm looking for a movie that was filmed in the 70's. The movie was about a woman who moved into a house (I assume she was with her parents) and she starts seeing these little gray or green creatures pop out of places (like a flower vase, from a bookshelf, etc.) She is the only one who can see them.
At the end of the movie, she has a high fever, and is being dragged away by these "things". She manages to grab a camera as they're pulling her down the stairs, snap a photo, and leave it there so others will believe her. (movie ends)
Sorry I can't provide any more detail. I hope someone knows cause it's driving me insane.

I haven't seen it, but it sounds like this one: Don't be Afraid of the Dark.

Judging by the forum posts it is a very well remembered movie!

Was that the one where the little creatures looked like midgets in onion-headed gorilla suits? I seem to remember them coming out of the fireplace, and even cutting the phone/power lines?

I also recall that movie having a lot of size/scale/perspective mistakes.
