ok the time has come now i have to delete my series 1 rips so if you haven't completed them by now you better hope that others can reshare if things dry up
as for series 2 and 3 i will have back ups of these but again you better hope others will reshare this since i've dedicated enough of my bandwidth for this series over the last five months and i must finally kill it off and move onto pastures new

*weeps with loss and regret*
I have the first six eps and will continue to share them for a good while. I hope the others are well spread. I just noticed this thread a few weeks ago and didn't realize how long you'd been sharing them. I sure wish I had. I would have moved on them much quicker. I can understand why you finally want to stop sharing though since you'd had them around forever.

i have done a quick search for series 1 and i've spotted about 8 full sources possibly more so that should be enough for you to complete
but i know for a fact there was about 20 full sources on most at one stage so those can hopefully reshare if need be
as for series 2 and 3 they where not my own rips so don't feel as much responsibility to those but i also made sure they where spread well on the network
@d0c......yeah i'll post it over there later on

Well I now have the full series one downloaded - it's taken about a month though to be quite honest!
I wonder why they changed the actor for the crippled guy on Episode 11?
The Welshman is/was by far the best character in the whole series - nasty little $hitbag at times but oh such a good actor and full of humour as well.

it probably took you a little longer to get these as i originally put them on the network in December 2003/January2004 so the fact that you still managed to download them in a month still is pretty good IMO
they changed the actor who playd Vic as the original vic (Terry Scully) became to ill to continue acting the part
and i agree Talfryn Thomas was superb as Tom Price he was always stealing the scenes and overshadowing the others in series 1......unfortunately he wasn't in series 2 and passed away in 1982
with regards to series 2 i will be releasing DVD rips of them v.soon so if you can't get the TV rips hang on and get the DVD rips from me when i release them shortly

Well it will probably be another month by the time I get the rest of series 2 and 3 downloaded I'm sure... :-o
Those conversions that you made were very good indeed and I'm hoping they will all fit onto one DVDr?
I use my Xbox as a divx player and arcade emulator so that would be perfect
I've not yet got to the episodes that I remember watching with my dear old dad but I suspect that they were the later series as it would have been at least '76 or '77 when they were on air and we had moved to the "new" house
Thanks very much for releasing those rips

I'm running an Athlon 64 notebook and ED2K seems to put my system in "486 simulation mode"
Is ED2K always like this?

13 episodes at 350mb don't quite fit onto 1 dvd-r unfortunately but i'll be releasing the dvd extras aswell so you'd need more space anyway if you was to download the lot

well atm i'm powersharing dawn of the dead in various cuts (5gig of files) and then i've promised to release a comedy movie for someone over at fileheaven....so depending on how well they get spread will determine how long it is until series 2 comes to the network.I'll probably release 1 episode per week when i do get round to it
