Bartolomeo Pagano, Franz Sala, Elena Sangro. After a child is kidnapped by the devil, brave Maciste decides to travel into the netherworld to save the youngster from a tragic fate. Quickly, his actions lead to a stunning confrontation with Satan that results in him being sentenced to eternity in hell. Transformed into a demon, Maciste struggles to return to his former appearance and escape his fiery surroundings. Atmospheric Italian silent film. Silent with music score.
