Plot: Taking place in the younger days of the famous monk, Tripitaka (known for bringing the sacred Bhuddist sutras from India to China), the film tells a fantastical adventure of the monk and his three disciples. On their way to the city of Shache, the monk narrowly escapes an attack from a group of demons. While trying to think of a way to rescue his disciples, he is captured by the king of reptiles and placed under the vigilance of Meiyan, an ugly demon who falls in love with the monk. Luckily, a princess from another galaxy rescues the monk, deeply affecting Meiyan, who pursues the two. In a twist of fate, the ugly Meiyan decides to help her beloved and teams up with the princess to rescue Tripitaka's three disciples.

I'm wondering if this should be posted on sci-fi as well?

Triptaka falls in love with an alien from outerspace... does this qualify for scifi?

more time to flitter away on pointless escapades? :wacky: Don't worry, re-encoding with hardsubs will make it look super next time you upgrade your display... oh wait... nevermind :p Where's slayer's sarcasm smiley? :wacky:

I dunno, but scifi is a weak genre since its concern with the presence of checklist items; if you check a box next to robot, alien, space, future, time travel, etc. then you can probably call it scifi

Its a WAF rip, its already suffering compression artefacts coz the stupid arses chose to stretch it to 800 so it wont harm it that much. I've searched for a decent rip of this all over & the WAF unfortunately is the best there is right now :(

annoying isn't it, but then you'll be doubling that up by re-encoding because that's the nature of re-encoding.. taking an input and recompressing it. That's why bad cropping, no deinterlacing, hardsubbing is so bad, the damage has already been done and anything you can do just makes it worse.

I wish WAF didn't zoom, but you know what they say about old dogs :(
