Plot outline....:
A 'mockumentary' hosted by Dr. Francis B. Gross, a coroner. He is trying
to show you the different 'faces' of people while dying. There are faked
scenes of people getting killed intermixed with footage of real accidents.
There are executions by decapitation (in an Arab country) and the electric
chair. One scene shows a group of tourists in Egypt smashing a monkey's
head while still alive and eating its brains. There are shots of animals
eating people and satanic orgies using dead bodies. There is a segment
that deals with an alligator that accidentally entered 'residential'
waters. The local warden goes in his boat to get the crocodile back into
the sea when he accidentally falls over and becomes gator bait. The film
ends with news clippings of people jumping off buildings and major
accidents.

oh man... is it too ungrateful of my part to think this rip should come from the special edition? I was waiting for a rip of that one, when I saw this thread with a shitbusters logo attached to it I cheered, I knew extras were part of the deal... but from the boxset :/
I'd love to have a rip from the newest release, it might disappoint due to my expectation, but finally having a commentary pointing out (clear as they were without any commentary, anyways) the fake scenes, from the director himself who as far as I know was a bit of a recluse about coming out and debating the movie? and a featurette about special effects with the special effects people discussing the fake scenes, it's legendary in a cool nostalgic way, while I watch the movie with totally different eyes from those of that 12 years old boy back then (emoticon here).

Slayer, long time no see I missed that post, that will do for now... I wasn't aware that tape was included in the box set, that's great. But actually the material presented in the anniversary edition (same as the blu-ray Avanze referred to) is all new! for the first time they not only pointed out what was fake in the original movie but also discussed the process of how they accomplished the effects, revealing the fx artists involved as they are talking about the making of the movie and so on, also like I said the director commentary is supposed to be pretty enlightening and fun to follow... anyway, several horror buffs considered that edition one of the very best "horror" dvd releases of the past year.

Yeah...by now I am sure there is a better release of this out for sale....I ripped this a long time ago and have been sitting on it....actually this was ripped back when I was in STR so that gives you a clue. I do know this.....I can't even count the amount of crappy 3rd gen rips I have downloaded of this series....half the reason I went out and got the boxset was for that reason.....wouldn't mind having some BR rips of this though.....although someone else will have to shell out the money for that...I've done my part as far as this series is concerned
