Have you ever found yourself unable to enjoy a Japanese movie with your friends because of all the slow talking parts bore them so much that they also start talking?
Well Mamoru Oshii, director of Ghost in The Shell, is currently supervising a four-part anthology action film named Kiru ~ Kill, that promises to be all action and have nothing resembling any boring plot or character development. Each anthology is only a climactic final battle of a non-existent film by one of four directors. Oshii is one of the directors and his segment is named Assault Girl 2 featuring Babel star Rinko Kikuchi, is about two women fighting in a battlefield which is visually reminiscent of his 2001 film Avalon.
Another director involved in the project is Kenta Fukasaku, son of acclaimed director Kinji Fukasaku, who both worked on the live-action Battle Royale films. The film also brings in some variety with one the segments looking like it was amatuerly shot with a Super 8 camera. Did I mention that one of the fights involve a schoolgirl?
The trailer is fully in Japanese right now and from the looks of it, this might not disappoint with the directors working behind it. So is anybody interested in watching a movie that only has the climactic final battle?

I saw this Kiru (aka kill) times ago,but it's nothing great. Only 2 out of 4 shorts are decent, but no one i can call "good". Poor combat scenes in all of them.

I love the second, fukasaku's one, the one silent-like of the kids who go to the school of sword. The Oshi part is just some comtemplative film with music that you can trip, the rest are trashy katana combats, they are not bad maybe im acostumed to this b-serial style.
