The Naked West, DAVID F FRIEDMAN style! Those of you who thought a cowboy was only supposed to love his horse will be delighted with this nude and naughty festival of flesh. The story has a cowpoke (JIM GENTRY) fall in love with the perfect lungs of Indian princess Tuwana. Before you can say," Geronimo!" the pair are rolling around like a tumbleweed. But while Gentry is showing Tuwana his "six-shooter," Indian maiden Cochina is raped and killed by a toothless varmint. The Injuns blame Gentry, go on the warpath, and kidnap his luscious lady, Lucy (JULIA BLACKBURN, who has an ass you could put a saddle on).
Our hero valiantly gives up, secure in the knowledge the Indians will give him a fair trial. Oops! "You will be staked and those organs which have offended will be cut from your body," declares the understanding Chief.
Before Gentry has a tomahawk taken to his testicles, Tuwana comes forward and offers the "loss of her purity" as proof he's innocent. He and Lucy are set free and Gentry gives a heartfelt speech "Violence begets violence. If we have learned this lesson, there is hope." No dice. The very next scene is a sickie in which the Injuns catch the real rapist and neuter him!
Most of The Ramrodder is funnier than F-Troop. The Indians have five o'clock shadow, flies constantly land on actor's faces, and the corpse of Cochina can be seen breathing heavily. Tuwana is played by KATHY WILLIAMS, a familiar face in sex fare like Love Camp 7, Office Love-In, and Sisters in Leather. You haven't lived until you've seen her "virgin dance," which looks like someone playing hopscotch on quaaludes. Rounding out the cast are BRAVE EAGLE, MARSHA JORDAN (The Head Mistress), and Charles Manson Family member BOBBY BEAUSOLEIL.
