I think those MP movies belong here, they've got a lot of black humour and even a bit of gore sometimes. So here's the first of the upcoming rips:

A few words about the rip:
Although there are quite a few rips of this movie, none of them contains the commentary tracks, and this one contains two: enlightening commentaries by Terry Gilliam & Terry Jones, plus general complaints and back-biting by John Cleese, Eric Idle and Michael Palin. As the comments are ripped in stereo, I decided to go for 2 CDs in order to preserve the best picture quality, and since this gave me a lot of space (this movie is not very long), the main audio track is left in AC3 5.1. There is also a bonus short opening film, which had different resolution and only 1 audio, so I had to rip it separately, but it is meant to go on CD1, hence the smaller size of the first file of the movie.
I really recommend this one to be downloaded with subtitles, as they also contain a few attractions. Subtitle track 1 contains the on-screen screenplay (read while you watch the film), track 2 is Subtitles For People Who Don't Like The Film, taken from Henry IV, Part II (now this is really hilarious, it's worth to watch the movie again with these subs), track 3 is captions.

Yes, but on the other hand the one by Criterion is still much better than other releases. And since there's no news on any good edition appearing within the next few months, I ordered this one. Pity I can't afford the whole Flying Circus collection...

Someone just told me on FH the first CD has a slightly different rate than the second one, like 25.0015 fps. I still don't know how and why this could have happened, I didn't do anything unusual to the file... However, the a-v synchronization is correct.
