Highly recomended, this is probably the best Blaxploitation I've seen yet, and it has everything: Pimps in all their funky 70's pimp-wear, ugly hookers, ambigously dirty cops, lots of killings, groovy soundtrack, lousy cars and racists in all colors. Funny thing though, as it's shot in mostly brownish tones: "They all look the same to me". On top of it all, it even carries a message, with great success!

Not to be missed.

i've not seen many blaxploitation movies. i kinda liked a black zombie flick but can't remember it's name. of course i like the original 'shaft' a lot. it's sequels and remake are also pretty decent.

what i still haven't seen is 'foxy brown' or any other pam grier movie (apart from 'jackie brown'). i guess i'll have to catch up on those.

You shouldn't miss Black Caesar, or Superfly. Ace flicks.
