L'histoire, la plupart d'entre vous la connaissent, est celle d'une ?quipe de tournage qui part pour Skull Island, une ?le myst?rieuse o? se cacherait un gigantesque singe appel? King Kong. Peu de jours passent avant que le monstre pointe le bout de son nez et capture une jeune actrice, livr?e par des indig?nes. Mais la b?te s'?prend finalement de la belle, celle-ci n'a plus d'autre choix que d'attendre le secours de ses compagnons.
Une des sc?nes rest?e d?finitivement culte est bien celle o? King Kong surplombe l'Empire State Building, afin d'?chapper ? la traque des hommes et rester aux c?t?s de sa bien aim?e. Une s?quence sur laquelle le documentaire reviendra, en rendant hommage aux p?res de King Kong et leurs prouesses pour le cin?ma de l'?poque. Car vous imaginez bien que King Kong ?tait un film ? gros budget et bourr? d'effets sp?ciaux. Aujourd'hui, ?a peut effectivement faire un peu sourire, mais il faut bien reconna?tre que c'est aussi ?a qui fait son charme. Bien ?videmment, loin de ces d?tails de r?alisation, le film reste une grande r?ussite.</td></tr></table>

sorry, couldn't find any info in english apart for the tacky title translation
basically it's a documentary about schoedsack the cameraman and cooper the aviator, the directors of the original king kong
they were real adventurers and started out by making documentaries
they were also nominated at the first oscar ceremony for chang
anyway, it takes form of an interview with this old lady, who seems to be the ultimate king kong expert
she will tell you all about these two guys, their adventures, the groundbraking special fx of the movie, and loads of other trivia
thought you guys would enjoy this, what with peter jackson's version coming up... enjoy !
NOTE: it's a french tv production, but the rip has two audio streams : the original english one, and the french voice-over one
