I have the first part complete and in share (but not 24/7). The second part is at 85%.

s'probably too late, but I got access to a second eMule connection so clicked this and will hopefully get it in time.
And leave it on share too.
Thanks PC_Arcade :beerchug:

Got a chipped xbox, is it really noticable that it drops frames (unwatchable?) or is it just at intervals?

Bit of a newb to these things

@conky, unwatchable. You need a pc based player with at least ~1.4Ghz.

I have noticed MPC doesn't like to play this (plays choppy), but VLC works great!

I just watched it yesterday without any problems. I used MPC 6.4.9.0.

yeah, ditto, i don't need vlc. Generally vlc is the player to use if you've messed up your system with shit codecs and filters, otherwise mpc will handled everything :)

actually it's the opposite on my machine, VLC seems to have severe problems with the sound whereas mpc plays it w/o any problems. (having an AMD64 3400+ with 2 GB Ram does help though ;) )

i only have the CCCP codec pack installed and CoreAVC for h264. it might be that i have an outdated VLC version installed but since i rarely use it anyway it doesn't really matter. :)

Hmm nope still doesn't like it...? Not that I care cuz VLC is playing it perfectly, I just hate its interface. I was going to mention that there were some weird lines (noise or interlacing like) but then I realized my windows wasn't set to the highest resolution, did that and poof no more strange 'lines'.

Anyway, I know there is nice avi already, but I want to fool around encoding this source, just because I never done any HD ts=>Xvid before. Any pointers when working with an HD source?

there's a thread @ doom9 forums you probably should read.

IMO, re-encode it to Xvid or h264 @ 1DVDr size, maintaining full resolution :)

Terrific release, the quality is flawless! (I'm so happy to live at the age of HDTV!) It played fine on both MPC and VLC, no jerky effect or anything.
