Based on real events during the 1600's in Spanish occupied Italy THE NUN OF 
MONZA is one of the first in a long line of Italian nunsploitation films. 
Directed by Eriprando Visconti THE NUN OF MONZA tells the story of young 
nobleman, Giampaolo (Antonio Sabata) who finds refuge in the convent of Monza 
fter killing a traitor to Italy. The convent isn't the holiest of places though 
and the nuns, led by the Mother Superior (Anne Heywood) begin to experience 
devilish tendencies which lead to rape, torture, blasphemous acts and death. Not 
one of the more overt nunsploitation movies this film also stars Laura Belli, 
Pier Paolo Capponi, Carla Gravina & Luigi Pistilli.

STR had this for release slated next week :moon:

Yours looks a hell of alot better than mine does though....the dvd I picked up had bad interlacing on the source...did you pick anything up like that on your copy?
Somebody damned sure better bring this to edk for that collection :twisted:

Very strange.My copy was from the X-rated dvd ...maybe it was just a bad dvd or something....At least it's out now.

Would be interesting to be sure...Did not see that other version out...Nice that it came along because the copy I got was the worst transfered dvd I have ever seen. :lol:

If it had a Kult intro I probably snipped it off anyway so there is no way to tell.
