"I was put on this earth to combat sin and I shall use every available means to do so."

That just about sums it up. A nutcase priest is on a mission to defeat the 'forces of evil' how he sees fit and nothing will get in his sacred way.

Directed by the awesome Pete Walker (House of Whipcord, Frightmare, Schitzo, and many others), The Confessional: House Of Mortal Sin is a tale of madness and corruption in the church and how the innocent lifestyle of a young woman is turned upside down when she one days accidentally ends up in a cofession booth with the wrong cleric. Without her knowledge he records her confession and uses it to blackmail her into compliance as he works his way down the road towards the vicious destruction of those he deems have sinned.

A great classic English(UK) horror film. Pete Walkers films are wicked and he has a unique talent for making elderly people extremely frightening, moreso than any other director that comes to mind.

Gordian Knot 2-pass. Enjoy. :)

good stuff, make sure you only use that smoother on noisey sources else you run the risk of wiping out some actual film grain and detail.

The dvd is somewhat noisy so it was a good test overall. Encoding time increased to just over 6 hrs. from the average 4 hrs. for me. Worth the extra 2 it cost though. :)
