If you enjoy trashy crap horror films that are fun to watch then J.G. Patterson Jr.'s (Dr. Gore - 1973) The Electric Chair is
sure to satisfy. The source film off the dvd (Axe-SWV)is a scratched up mess so the rip is not top of the line obviously but
the flick is very watchable - just turn up the audio a bit as the voices are very muffled from what seems to be horrible audio
recording at the time of production. The no-name cast delivers great and unintentionally funny performances at times also.

Synopsis from allmovie:

"A married preacher and the woman he had been having an affair with are found brutally murdered. A local religious fanatic, Mose
Cooper (director Pat Paterson), is charged with the crime, found guilty and sentenced to die in the electric chair. However, at
the last minute he is reprieved and the authorities arrest a local nutcase named "Crazy Billy" for the crime. The tension increases
as residents start to wonder if either one (or neither one) actually committed the crime."

Note: there's a faint SWV overlay at the bottom right corner throughout the film but it's not noticeable if you pay attention to the
flick and generally ignore it. I forgot it was there and only noticed it periodically when the action drew my eyes to that part of
the screen.
