The cover shown here (taken from IMDB) is actually from the Vipco release of Bloodrage (1979) (recently added to the VN2 collection) directed by Joseph Zito (note the reference to his films at the top) and does not relate to this movie.

After bein on mule for a little now I understand why ya would want a 1cd rip , from now on anything I rip that gets posted here will be a lower quallity 1cd rip , Higher quallity 2cd rips can be found on usenet in the horror group for those that want them. :beerchug:

Just watched this last night... great movie, thanks for sharing!

Unfortunately however it appears this version is cut

I'm basing this off of reading some of the reviews from IMDB. Even though there are some gory scenes many of the deaths cut away quickly or are not shown at all until the aftermath.

Here are a couple of quotes from http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085253/usercomments

The woman wonders why her lover isn't answering and enters the room. She taps him on the shoulder, forcing him to full forward and split his head completely in half! Surprisingly the camera doesn't flinch away, it gives us at least two seconds of screen time showing the victim's head wide open!

This rip however cuts away before Maddy taps him on the shoulder and the victim doesn't slump over and his head doesn't fall open. :evil:

Also two different reviewers made reference to a scene where a woman was cut in half while still alive:

This version does show a dead woman after she's been cut in half, but it doesn't show the murder as it takes place.

IMDB lists the movie's running time at 82 minutes but it's listed at 87 minutes by two of the exernal reviews at http://www.yikeshorror.com/id77.htm and http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Basement/9886/BloodRage.htm so it appears this one is edited pretty heavily. Too bad because it's a very entertaining film... I'd love to see the uncut version with all the gore intact!

This version is unfortunately HEAVILY cut! I just compared it to the Australian VHS Version, and -what a pity - it misses a lot of gore, right from the beginning. My VHS-Version is such a bad copy that it looses color some times :oops:

So, no sharing possible ....

Hope there will be a unrated DVD version soon !!! :twisted:
