I thought I'd add a few NZB sites that are still alive:

NZBsRus - http://www.nzbsrus.com/ (registration required and VIP section)

Carries most things and probably one of the largest NZB indexing sites. Has a VIP section (on donation) which apparently carries XXX. Site is due an upgrade anytime now.

NZBMatrix - http://nzbmatrix.com/ (registration required)

Carries everything including XXX.

Binaries4Ever - http://www.binaries4ever.net/ (Dutch indexing site registration required)

Carries everything including XXX.

NZB-Chat - http://www.nzb-chat.com/ (No registration)

Not as comprehensive, but does carry all categories. Lots of TV on here.

binsearch.info - http://www.binsearch.info/groups.php

Group listing and search engine. Creates NZBs from collections.

You need to have newsgroup access through your isp, or pay for seperate access through another company. Usenetserver or giganews are two examples.

Do you have either of those?

I am for rare stuff, but with newsgroups it maxes out your connection until it's downloaded.
With my crap connection it downs at 200KB continuous

Defo worth paying £20 for 3 months access :beerchug:

If anyone needs any help with using grabit or alt.binz send me a message, I can help you set them up well.

I have done a how too guide for alt.binz and uploaded it to alt.binaries.boneless just search for vampkitty69

It probably best to use www.newzleech.com to browse the binaries groups and get nzbs, and then import them into alt.binz, found that the easiest and more reliable way to aquire stuff off usenet so far.

and obviously, they all free so no need to pay for stuff.
