think it's borked. picture and sound freezes after 10 minutes or so. and keeps doing that.
could be a wrong fps conversion.

I'll check and see if it can be repacked, but wouldn't surprise me... I downloaded some torrents tagged CG and they were trash too.

However, i've just previewed it in mpc and nandub and scan all the way through to the end, it plays fine... can you tell me exactly where it freezes to see if i can replicate? It all seems fine to me, barring some moving matte.

it is 25fps, as it is from the italian DVD which is the best print available (english is not OAR)

it does play fine for the rest. it just occasionally freezes to play again in a second.
and you should notice it after 10 (or 14) minutes. let it play for a while and it shows.

damn, so effectively since i've never seen it i gotta sit down and watch it and run the risk of it being f*ck0red?
Sounds like it probably just needs repacking though, as the audio and video streams don't actual freeze when i scanned through. Sounds like what you get with bad interleaving.

Once the interleaving issue (and Vae's internet problem) is solved, would one of you guys be so kind and share it on ed2k? :)

This is some uber cheesey classic shit alright 8)
Shame on you spud for not watching this earlier :prat:

CG = cinemageddon for the few that are wondering.

If the upload to usenet is what caused above posted allegations, I could get that torrent and bring it over. :)

[edit:coming down at 400 kb right now, I'll check too in an hour]

Well ehm.....

Finished & tested the original torrent.

Plays fine with mpc from start to the 16th minute.
Even checked timespan 8m30s-15m30s with crappy wmp10 & ffdshow... no problems I could notice either.

Now go beat up your newsprovider

This need a ed2k release then ?
No sweat *IF* you can wait till tuesday.
Got a bunch of torrents queued over the weekend. Needs sorting

Think the audio is slightly (no more then 100ms) out of sync too.
Will have a look into that.

I didn't watch it in the end, but it does open in nandub fine (it was the first thing i did to see if it worked when you said you had problems). Works fine and dandy.

I'd suggest it was a corrupted archive but unless you have ignore errors on extract I don't think it could be. ;)
