I really enjoyed this movie. The CGI was excellent, really well done for CGI. They usually mess it up, but they really couldn't have acheived the same shots with puppetry and it looks good (not plasticy like usual).

I put this in the column of movies that i was pleasantly surprised by in recent times. Nice comic slant, well acted and very entertaining. Very glad i downloaded the DVDr.

As for men in black, errr, no. This is way too gorey for any comparison. It was bright and vibrant in colour, it reminded me a bit like Evolution but not really in any significant way, just mentioning it to steer it away from the mib comment which is a little out there if you ask me.

You should be grateful Spud... if I hadn't lowered your expectations *that* low the movie would have been much less a pleasant surprise :mrgreen:

Otoh, I didn't mean it as an offense (actually I found MIB I funnier than Slither

)... Slither was good time but I found little soul in it... when you go over the board referencing every great horror movie on heaven and heart you'd better be sure to have something very particular and all your own to say, or people will tend to think: "well, fun movie, ok movie, yeah... but now that you make me think of it that one your paying homage to was so much better" :mrgreen:
