Great movie but I also recommend you to read the original novel by Robert Heinlein.

It is basicaly the same plot as the movie but it's very much humoristic.
To keep alien from spreading government ask people to drop their clothes off
so they can find the parasites more easily.

I'm defenitly aware of a remake with a scenario closest to the book.
